Well it may be seen in many case that movies have a deep control on us.
We all know that its just a movie or soap but we still feel pity for the characters.
We get hyper.....we feel angry if sumone harms the main characters....we feel sad.
Knowing that its not the reality.....still y do we get involved in them?

Bad movies get me thinking about popcorn even in the duration of them

Good movies keep me focussed ๐Ÿ˜Š

Excellent movie grip me and get me involved and thinking ๐Ÿ˜›๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Outstanding movies grip me and get me thinking for a few days after and I rememeber them for a long long time ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ณ

No movies / serials profoundly impact my life though!
After all, they are just movies!๐Ÿ˜Š

Well... I think they help us forget our daily tensions and worries.... At times its nice not to care abt the real world and get involved with the show...

We may get involved in a movie or soap cos its story may interest us to watch it. Sometimes, because others in the family are watching and no other option to watch so we watch it or at least hear it..lol...

At least for me I dont get affected by the movies and soaps but I have read in newspapers about the school and college going kids getting influence by some part of the movie or soap like kids trying to perform Hrithik stunts in Krissh, which may turn out to be dangerous for them. Generally kids get influence watching movies and soaps.

I think it depends upon each individual. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Everything around us influence a person's mind, character and personality.

It depends upon a person how much they let the external environment affect them and how much they get affected by issues around them.

i think good movies do have a hold on us to some degree. many a times we can project ourselves onto the characters and feel and think as they do because we can relate to them on a personal level. other times, the story and artful acting make the characters real for us, even if we can separate them from ourselves. we would then feel for them as much as we might feel for another person in real life. in either case, with a good movie, there's a feeling of personal connection that has the power to move us.

oh, and for some examples, who can not but feel moved by those sorry movie characters who think the entire world is out to get them? the Peter Lorre characters are so dramatic, no?๐Ÿ˜‰ of course when they are not being foolish and contemptible too. but whatever, we do get moved by them, no?

then there's the cuckoo in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. so easy to identify with such cuckoo-heads and wackos in real-life, me thinks.๐Ÿ˜‰

and yes, there's also Animal House. great flick. sorta shows the kind of zoo that some folks can easily create out of a great institution, doesn't it? oh, those college years! these movies can really send us back to those times, cant they?

simple examples, each to show how we feel connected to our movies and why they can move us. more where they came from but hopefully these shld suffice for now to make my point.๐Ÿ˜Š

I don't watch movies that much or let them affect me in any positive or negative way but I know people who try to emulate both good and bad they see in the movies... Movies exagarate both good and bad and to say that a movie changes someones thought process in a good way maybe far fetched but it could easily enforce villianous behaviour as seen in kekta serials or 70's and 80's movies by some.... Especially expectations from in-laws who believe that all bahus are like Kekta bahus and should accept any crap dished out to them..๐Ÿ˜• ... People who are prone to villian worship should not watch movies or scheming conniving kekta serials...๐Ÿ˜† IMO...
