Even as the soundtrack of the much-awaited romantic comedy KYA LOVE STORY HAI officially releases this week, according to sources, Kareena Kapoor is gearing up to shoot her sensational track for the film within the next day or two. The film also stars Tusshar Kapoor and Ayesha Takia.

To be choreographed by Bosco, the picturisation will be against an extremely grand and expensive set. Apparently called "Yaara Ishq To Karo", Alisha Chinai will provide the vocals for Kareena.

The shoot will be covered elaborately by the media in Mumbai and the video will be released on air before the end of the month.

Meanwhile, the opening track, MISS YOU EVERYDAY, picturised on Tusshar and Ayesha is already playing across radio stations overseas.

The film releases worldwide on April 20.

Kareena Kapoor might pair with Sanjay Dutt

Producer Sanjay Gupta is looking forward to sign actress Kareena Kapoor for his movie 'Chamki Chameli', which is said to be the Indianized adaptation of Spanish Opera.

The film, to be directed by acclaimed filmmaker Shyam Benegal , was previously supposed to be made under a different producer. But it has got a new lease of life since Sanjay Gupta took over the project.




Chamki Chameli will now star Sanjay Dutt , Gupta's good friend and partner in the production company White Feather Films.

Kareena Kapoor is being considered to play the leading role opposite Dutt in the film. However, it is still not clear whether she will be able to do the movie because of her other commitments which include Imtiaz Ali's film with beau Shahid Kapur and Mani Ratnam's film with Aamir Khan .

Bebo is learnt to be eager to work with Sanjay Dutt.

'Chamki Chameli' will have music by A R Rahman and lyrics by Javed Akhtar .

MUMBAI: Kareena Kapoor, slated to make a special appearance in Kya Love Story Hai, will shoot for the song picturised on her in the film, this week.

The soundtrack of the romantic comedy that stars Tusshar Kapoor and Ayesha Takia, has already been released. To be choreographed by Bosco, the song will be picturised on a grand set. Alisha Chinai has lent her voice for the song, titled "Yaara Ishq To Karo".

The music video of the song will be released on satellite television before the end of the month. The opening track, "Miss You Everyday", picturised on Tusshar and Ayesha, is already playing on radio stations overseas.

The film is slated for release worldwide on 20 April 2007.

Kareena opposite Sanju in Shyam Benegal's film?

Kareena Kapoor is likely to star in Shyam Benegal's next titled 'Chamki Chameli'. Incidentally, Kareena was also the first choice for the film at a time when Benegal was to make the film for another producer. Now, Sanjay Gupta will be producing the film.

'Chamki Chameli' is the story about a passionate soldier and a few capricious gypsy woman.

Both Benegal and Gupta, and for that matter, even Sanjay, are keen that Kareena was chosen for the film. However, Kareena needs to sort out the dates which she has given to Mani Ratnam's film. Benegal will be shooting 'Chamki Chameli' on and around the same time as Ratnam.

Kareena has never been paired with Sanjay yet. A few years ago Mahesh Manjrekar was planning a love story with Sanju and Kareena where Kareena was supposed to play a blind girl. That film never took off. Let's see what happens this time.

Scripting Bebo's exit?

Reportedly, Kareena Kapoor may not be part of Zoya Akhtar's Kismet Talkies any more. Did Hrithik Roshan ask his director to rework the entire script to ensure this?

Zoya Akhtar's debut venture Kismet Talkies seems to be in trouble all the time. Chances of the project starting soon seem bleaker now, with the buzz doing the rounds about Hrithik Roshan being unwilling to work with Kareena Kapoor. Not only that, Hrithik has also reportedly asked for the script to be reworked. And no, chances of Kareena featuring in the reworked version is very bleak.

In fact, Kareena has been heard asking whether Zoya plans to make the film at all, since she hasn't heard about it from her, in ages. She hasn't been shown the script yet either. What's more, Bebo's dates are blocked for the rest of the year with three films, so that may be an issue too.

Meanwhile, Zoya Akhtar reworked the first draft of the script to keep Hrithik happy, but to no avail. According to our source, "Somehow Hrithik was not convinced still, and asked her to postpone the project." Zoya, eager to salvage her forthcoming film, continued to ideate. "Hrithik will work with Zoya for sure. He has signed a contract with producer Ritesh Sidwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment. Moreover, Zoya is a friend," says our source.

When we contacted Zoya Akhtar, she said, "I don't want to talk about my project at the moment, I think it's too premature to talk about it now."

However, industry insiders insist that Hrithik has been hesitant about the film ever since Zoya signed Kareena for the project. His wife Suzanne, sources say, is not too happy with husband Hrithik teaming up with Kareena. A few years ago, it was reported in the media that Hrithik had an affair with Kareena, during the making of K3G. Although both of them deny it, they have never worked together after that.

Even after the two signed Kismet Talkies, the cold vibes persisted. In an earlier interview to Mumbai Mirror, Hrithik clearly stated that, "I am doing Zoya's film. I don't know who else is associated with the project." Kareena remained indifferent too. She told Mumbai Mirror, "I liked my character in the film very much. I have never signed any film because of the hero. I am happy that Hrithik is doing the film, but I would have done the film even if he hadn't been associated with the film."

Just when Zoya thought she had managed to convince Hrithik, things took a turn for the worse and now Kareena may not do the film. "Kareena has no formal intimation from Zoya yet, but she doesn't know whether she's in the film or not any more. In fact, Hrithik has recommended Priyanka Chopra's name for the film," our source reveals.

We tried to get in touch with Hrithik Roshan for his version but his publicist refused to give us his new number.

Yash Raj's new project!

Yash Raj has signed Akshay Kumar for its forthcoming project, which will be directed by DHOOM and DHOOM 2 writer Vijay Krishna Acharya aka Victor. In fact, the project marks Akshay's return to Yash Raj after DIL TO PAGAL HAI. However, there's tremendous speculation about the balance cast of this biggie.

A section of the media has reported that the film will star Ajay Devgan with Akshay, but trustworthy sources tells us that Saif Ali Khan will be co-starring in the film.

Now, here's something no one knows. Kareena Kapoor will play the romantic interest of Akshay and Saif in this film. Like Akshay, this film marks Kareena's return to the Yash Raj banner after MUJHSE DOSTI KAROGE. "There were no differences between Kareena and Yash Raj as such. But the KAL HO NAA HO incident with the Johars created a rift and Kareena was never considered for any of Yash Raj or Dharma's films," a very, very reliable source tells me.

Back to the Akki-Saif project. Kareena has already heard the story, liked her part immensely and has given her consent to the makers. The film will be shot from April to July 2007, after which Kareena will commence shooting for Mani Ratnam's LAJJO from October 2007 onwards.

Kareena Kapoor signed up for a Yash Raj movie. Kareena's last film with Yash Raj banner was 'Mujhse Dosti Karoge' opposite Hrithik Roshan. As per reports, it will be a two hero-one heroine film. And for male leads, Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan will be roped in. Kareena-Akshay first played together in 'Ajnabee' and then in 'Aitraaz'; it will be their third film together. And as per Saif Ali Khan is concerned, it will be his first film opposite Kareena. Though Saif and Kareena shared screen space in Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Omkara', but in this film Ajay Devgan played the male lead opposite Kareena.

India's most successful filmmaking banner is undergoing a casting upheaval of sorts. Yashraj Films is picking up top stars from Bollywood and signing them for lucrative film deals.

Yashraj's latest acquisition is Kareena Kapoor, the spunky seductress who was unofficially ostracised from the banner after she asked for a hefty sum to do Kal Ho Na Ho with Yashraj's blue-eyed boy Shah Rukh Khan.

Kareena, who has been on a massive fence-mending spree, has off-late not only done a guest appearance with Shah Rukh in Don, she has also been invited into SRK's favourite banner.

In April 2007 Kareena will start shooting for Yashraj Films' new project.

Revealing details, a source says, "It's a love triangle featuring Kareena with Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, to be directed by Victor who wrote Dhoom and Dhoom 2."

He adds, "Kareena has never played a character like this before. It's her hottest and sexiest avatar to date."What made Yashraj approach the banner's unapproachable star? Says the source, "Yashraj wants to sign all the big stars. With Kareena there was never any real problem. In fact at the very beginning of her career Yash Chopra was supposed to direct her in a heroine-oriented film. That project fell through. Then she worked with them in Mujhse Dosti Karoge where she was originally supposed to play a tomboy. The role grew into an ultra-glamorous one. Now after many years Kareena has been approached by Aditya Chopra because there's a paucity of glamorous actresses. Sure they've Rani Mukherjee, Preity Zinta and Aishwarya Rai. But how many films can these do, considering Yashraj plans to produce 5-6 top-notch films every year?"

Interestingly, two years ago Aishwarya too was similarly isolated from the Yashraj banner. She was almost finalised for Veer-Zara and then given the go-by. It was the item song Kajra re in Bunty Aur Babli that brought her back into the Yashraj camp.

Says the source, "Kareena luckily had the dates in the first half of 2007 because Mani Rathnam's Lajjo with Aamir Khan was shifted to the latter part of the year."

The cold war between Yashraj Films and Kareena Kapoor and Akshay Kumar seems to be over. While Akshay has not worked with the banner ever since Dil To Pagal Hai in 1997, Kareena was last seen in the banner's Mujhse Dosti Karoge in 2002.

But now, Yash Raj Films has reportedly made peace with Kareena and Akshay.

The two have been signed for the banner's next movie, which will be directed by Victor, the man who wrote the scripts of Dhoom and Dhoom 2.

The movie, yet untitled, will also feature Saif Ali Khan. It will also mark the coming together of Saif and Akki on the silver screen after a long gap.

From what is known, the movie will be a love triangle with Kareena in a very glamourous role.

The film's shooting will expectedly begin in April 2007.

A forthcoming Yashraj Films' production promises to present Kareena Kapoor in her hottest avatar till date.

We have already reported that Kareena has returned to Yash Raj camp by signing the banner's next movie, to be directed by scriptwriter Victor.

Information trickling from various sources now reveals that Kareena will be playing a very glamourous role in the film. In fact, one source goes on to say that she would be her sexiest best in the movie.

The yet untitled film will have Kareena playing love interest to Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar. Its shooting will begin in April 2007.

Kareena, who has not shot for any movie for last nine months, is eager to return to action. She has already been working out to get back into shape.

In January, she will shoot with Karan Johar for an advertisement for a popular brand of paints. Karan will direct Kareena after a long gap of four years since Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

In the second half of 2007, Kareena will shoot with Aamir Khan for Mani Ratnam's movie Lajjo.
