Nobody wanted him to hit 4s and 6s from the go or play aggressively as you're saying. If he was not able to able to even rotate the strike with Virat then its his fault. If those balls he consumed with dots had been available for Sky you never know what he could have done and we will never know.

I have to agree. Batsmen don’t have to hit shots but should be constantly taking singles and 2s in any ODI. It makes a huge difference and at that level - its an extremely important part of game. 

However let’s be honest. It was a team failure in finals. Australia thoroughly outplayed India and a match I would like to forget. Too much hopes on winning after no losses previously thaaa.
