This guy's an idiot. Maryada means dignity. What he's describing is the exact opposite of Maryada. Getting constantly insulted by your spouse & keep staying with them quietly is the definition of indignity, repression & slave mindset. 

And wtf does this have to do with Animal? Other than Ranbirs mom, none of the women in the movie are door-mats of any kind. Rashmika's character is a complete bad ass. When he's not in his Animal mode, he's completely infatuated with her. From being her nanny to getting insulted by her on everything including him not being able to satisfy her . She even dumps him in the end. 

It's just that Rashmika has such a strong south Indian accent that nobody could understand what she was saying in Hindi or it was certainly a well tailored role worthy of a nomination at the very least.

 The women of Animal are the exact opposite of this dudes Mom & his understanding of Maryada.
