And wtf does this have to do with Animal? Other than Ranbirs mom, none of the women in the movie are door-mats of any kind. Rashmika's character is a complete bad ass. When he's not in his Animal mode, he's completely infatuated with her. From being her nanny to getting insulted by her on everything including him not being able to satisfy her . She even dumps him in the end.

It's just that Rashmika has such a strong south Indian accent that nobody could understand what she was saying in Hindi or it was certainly a well tailored role worthy of a nomination at the very least.

The women of Animal are the exact opposite of this dudes Mom & his understanding of Maryada.

Saleem Bhai, it's one thing to find a movie entertaining (which by all means you can, no one's stopping anyone here), but another thing to claim that the female characters in said movie are krantikari feminist icons or "badass" when they are clearly not. And a completely different thing to gaslight actual women on the forum into believing that the women characters in said director's movies are badass and we are not seeing it clearly.

Not every female character in every movie has to be a "badass", it's perfectly fine for a woman character to be a doormat and spineless, because lord knows there are many like that IRL. But don't go into platitudes hailing any of Vanga's women characters as "badass". It's not just laughable but downright insulting to the gender. This is not specific to this post, I see these same arguments put forth everywhere. Not directed at you.

Yeh kaafi interesting point hai. Jisko bhi jantau jisne pichchar dekhelay, kisine bhi nahin bola ki Rashmika ne achha kaam kiyelay. In fact, movie mein The Vanga ne Rashmika ke accent ko justify kiyelay - movie mein uska South Indian family dikhayelay. Phir bhi uske performance mein kuchh missing tha. Merlo lagtay usko pan-India movies (Hindi dub) pe focus karna chahiye.

Also, main pehle Sita ke role ke liye Sai Pallavi ko leke excited tha. Lekin ab narbhasa rela hoon 😬
