Glorifying Criminality

I understand its nothing new on ITV but I'd still like to put my word against it.

In this show, Suraj-

-left a dying Macchhan helpless and exploited his condition to manipulate Kabir into destroying Kesar's business;

-tried to molest Kesar on several occasions before marriage;

-pushed his pregnant girlfriend in London in front of a car (accidentally?!) and dumped her while she was in a coma state there to run back to India for marriage;

-broke a glass bottle on a man's head who was going to reveal his truth to his fiance;

-sent two goons to London to silence his ex-girlfriend's friend (a girl);

-tried to kill his own mother by running a car over her but halted last-minute with a sudden change of mind to 'teach her a lesson' instead;

Today, he has been redeemed of all these acts by this one scene in which his wife tells him that his mother is unwell and he rushes home to see if she's okay. This is supposed to convey to the audience ki woh "dil ka accha hai" and he just has some superficial level of "gussa" in him because he was kept separate from his mother in childhood, that's all.

He thought he'd harass her instead and make her suffer by separating her from Kesar instead of giving her an easy death

it is just having no direction.

suraj was this boring guy turned villian

Kabir and his family feels different every time, like seriously, which mother actually sells her daughter to two men for marriage

They have no clear idea what to do with everything.

My guess was they had a plan of 100+ episodes with kesar's backstory and her struggle with suraj's family without the love triangle. But there was no much engagement from audience when it was only about Kesar .. when prem trikon appeared it held little bit more attraction. And they couldn't balance prem trikon and kesar's past.

and so they removed kesar's past.. and ditched queen and thought to bring her later..and continue their plan.

But by now, Prem trikon got messy. First they wanted Kabir to the better, then Suraj, then kabir ..and no one can take a decision.

Kesar is a very lifeless heroine - there's just no spunk to her. 

Trikon was their benefit. Log Kabir ya Suraj ke bare mein hi comment karte hain indeed. Kesar ko sab 'most irritating' hi bol rahe hai.

I will just say then that criminality justify karne ka intention nahi hai rather inke indecisiveness ka consequence ho gaya hai ki they have ended up justifying criminality.

Abhi koshish zyada Kesar ko justify karne ki hai moee than Suraj. Kyunki Kesar ne shaadi kar li hai Suraj se. Aur heroine kaise galat hi sakti hai? Woh bhi jab uske best hiteshiyo ne usko itni baar warn koya Suraj ke against? Toh Suraj ko "dil ka accha" dikhado.

It's just very unconvincing

They should have put the bahu reveal till she reached adulthood.

It's ok if she knew that she was adopted. but not that she was already decided for someone. Because Kesar lost the spunk she had when she knew that she was the bahu.

She should have grown up as beti.. then she would be all happy go lucky.. clumsy girl. 

Friends with everyone including Kabir who saved he once from kidnaping.. enjoying a nice normal life without any bhoj of Bahu.

Yeah, in middle constant fight for life with Suraj family member who were evil.

Then, one day Suraj comes back, Suraj would accidently slip that Kesar would be his future wife. 

Imagine growing up as a daughter and in adulthood realizing that she have been promised to be the wife of someone in the family and kept in dark for all time.

The confusion she must go through in her mind.

The psychological turmoil she would go through. 

She is unable to trust the family she grew up with.

In comes Queen.. kidnaps her.. her past..

She having to choose between her adopted family or blood related family..

It would not be about the ML's first.. it would be about the question, was she actually loved by the family first.

All these would have been 100 time more interesting even without Prem trikon..

Agree. Your plot is much, much more interesting

In logo ne foresight rakh ke socha nahi. The moment they spilled to Kesar ki woh Suraj ki wife hone wali hai, Kabir ko irrelevant kar diya. Kyunki heroine mahaan hoti hai. Jante hue ki woh Suraj se shaadi karne ke liye layi gayi hai, she will not reduce her mahaanta by ever having a liking for Kabir

Now it just looks like ki Kabir, uski family, yeh sab dikhane ka koi point hi nahi tha kyunki Kesar ke mind mein kabhi conflict aya hi nahi between Kabir and Suraj ke beech. 

And Queen ke track ke saath toh jo injustice kiya! Queen ka track bhi pointless ho gaya at the end of the day. Kyunki Kesar ko thoda bhi interest nahi jaanne mein ki woh kaha se ayi hai.

Such unidimensional characters these days. Kesar is all about Suraj ko sudhaarna, Masu/sasuma is all about sankalp, Suraj is all about bachpan ka anyay. No one else matters. Aur kuch life mein hote hue bhi aane nahi dena. Boring to death.
