The films I watched of SLB, true lovers never end up together, someone dies or unhappy ending. But that's life, not everyone has happy ending so glad slb is not selling fantasy like others are selling.  

Of course he's "selling fantasy" as he either invents or adapts a story. He just favours non-happy endings

Maybe he wants a 'true lover' to suffer... because either the 'true love' exists with another partner or doesn't exist at all ?

Yeah. Because it mirrors his real life. But from one anti-marriage person to another, keep resisting bruh 

They both should've dumped her for being a confused little princess playing with people's emotions & then went on a Boyz Euro trip. Nandini was toxic AF.

He will also dislike the ending of Guru, but enjoy Sarkar Raj and Raavan a lot.

Fortunately, there is no end to the variety of love strories to end... since long marriage isn't the ultimate 'happy-ending' anymore
