EXCLUSIVE: Salman Khan Tiger 3 Sells Poor 17,000 Tickets In Entire Day Today, Struggling To Cross 8 Year Old Advance Number Of Diwali Release’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo! SRK’s Jawan And Pathaan Out Of Reach
Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 is next big release and expected to challenge records at box office. But film is lagging behind Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and Pathaan by huge margins. Number one booking app Bookmyshow is fair indicator of where film is going in terms of craze and advance booking. Tiger 3 failed to cross day one advance booking of Pathaan and Jawan even after 5 days.
Tiger 3 Needs Big Jumps Over Next Few Days To Challenge Jawan And Pathaan Records
Salman Khan has delivered some box office duds in recent past i.e. Radhe, Antim. His last release Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan failed miserably at box office despite being an Eid release and home production of super star. That is why his next release Tiger 3 is very important for revival of box office clout of Salman Khan.
This is Salman’s franchise and his most popular character. On Saturday, late afternoon film’s advance booking kicked off in national chains and response is on expected lines. Film took good start all over. By end of the day, film sold 10,000 plus tickets in national chains on Saturday.
Film saw below par sales all around as film crossed 1,10,500 tickets sold in advance booking in national chains. Film sold only 10,000 tickets in whole day today which is low.
Following are the numbers in national chains in advances for day 1 as of Wednesday 10 PM:
PVR + Inox: 1,00,000
Cinepolis: 22,000
Total: 1,22,000 tickets
In comparison Pathaan sold 1.17 lac tickets in advance booking after 24 hours of advance and 6 days before release. At same time Jawan sold 1.40 lac tickets in national chains. Film has sold 2,50,000 tickets for 3 days which is fair number but still below par.

very suprising
considering this is a big festival release and Pathaan and Jawan were non holidays
not to mention this is a franchise movie.
Is Salman Khan finished?
