This time Geet replies on the pic with another pic. Same location and dress but with additional person sitting on other side of the male artist; with caption- Great food, even better company but the best is the occasion. Congratulations on your engagement @ male artist@ the other female in the pic.

The topic of all the gossip immediately shifts and the Geet is ignored all together now.

Maan also smiles, satisfied with how this show ended.

Geet also sighs with relief.

It was a gamble, and truthfully, she had almost asked Maan to step in and help with PR.

But she was happy that she was able to handle this on her own and she couldn't deny that the Maan's trust in her to handle things on her also made her happy.

At first, she thought that her new assistant would inform Maan behind her back about what's going on in the crew.

But when she didn't hear anything or saw any sign of intervention from her. She had decided to try and message him herself, just to see is he can let her be.

She didn't want to be under the thumb of an overbearing, intrusive, possessive man.

And he didn't do anything that would make her feel small or incapable. So, she was happy and it seems like she has some wrong ideas about her lady assistant.

All she did was help her pack/unpack /carry her stuff and remind her on time to bake some more goodies to be parceled.

Geet was in an inexplicable happy mood for next few days.

Until she receives a message from Maan that burst her bubble.

M- Wifey!!!!!

Geet thought that she grew happy too fast. A leopard can't change its spots.

This man won't stop finding new ways to torment her.

G- ......

M- Wifey!! It is me. Not a hacker!

G-... Husband?

He smiles mischievously on the other side.

G-...

M-Wifey, your birthday is coming up. What other gifts you want. The way I address you is my first gift!! Happy birthday in advance!!

Geet wanted to send barf emoji so bad, but she managed to stop her fingers.

She thought he was drunk texting. Now she wishes he was drunk texting.

G- I don't celebrate birthdays. I don't want ANY gift.

M - My dear wife., the given gift can be exchanged for something different, and the birthday needs to be celebrated!

G- Dear husband. NO NEED for ANY gift.

M- Dearest, be reasonable. You have given me so many things. How can I be so frivolous and keep taking you for granted?

G - Dear Sir. Your concern and kind thoughts are gift enough. I don't think I can handle anything more.

M - You are no fun. Really want nothing?

G- Hmm

M - Alright just a cake and flowers then.

G-....

M - We have to be equals in relationship, lovely wife. It can't be always you making all the effort.

G- A cake then please. Thank you. Stop playing now.

M - Flavor?

G- Anything

M- What is Wifey's favorite flavor?

W-....

M- ... Dearest?

Geet wants to say cactus and ask him to put it in his ass.

G- Vanilla. Plain vanilla.

As promised, on her birthday she receives a small plain vanilla cake with a simple happy birthday written on it.

Geet looks at it with disbelief and then at the chat history.

The chat history which would give her nightmares anytime she accidentally saw it.

On a whim she takes a selfie of eating the cake and making a 'OMG SO DAMN DELICIOUS ' expression and sends it to Maan

Huh no cake for him! No baked good either. She won't make him anything. Let him suffer!!

Maan looks at the unexpected pic.

He switches off the screen and picks up work documents.

After half a minute he looks at the pic again.

He opens the cookie box and finishes all the remaining goodies.

And then he looks at the pic again.

Such a beautiful vixen...

Somehow the almost argument over the CP publicity and this one upping each other brings a strange ease between them

Although they still didn't communicate much. But that uncomfortable feel of how to talk to each other was gone.

As if suddenly they on some wavelength, they were finally in sync.

Geet has almost finished her shooting for the series.

Next the plan was to shoot a moderate luxury brand commercial, participate in a music video shoot and since new year was approaching. She would be hosting one of the celebration events which would be telecasted on various platforms.

After that she plans to take a small break and carefully decide her next long-term project.

The current series had brought her a lot of popularity and fame. Which in turn brought her many new opportunities in terms of tv shows, dramas and movie scripts.

Maybe, Maan is the lucky charm.

She thinks.

Today is the last day of her shooting and she makes future plans happily.

Unfortunately, in a moment of inattentiveness mixed with bad luck she steps onto uneven surface and falls down hard.

Immediately sharp pain shoot upon her ankle and she is unable to stand back up on her own.

All the crew gets alarmed and want to take her to the hospital at once.

But since this was the last day of shooting and only few shots are pending, Geet insists on finishing the job first.

Leaving now would mean huge loss of time money and effort. Just because of one person.

Taking a pain killer and bandaging her foot, he manages to complete her work and then goes to the hospital.

At the same time,

Maan's assistant is diligently following up on Madam's schedule wondering when she would be coming back, when he can take his year-end leaves before they lapse.

That is when he reads the message from the Geet's assistant that madam got hurt.

The male assistant rushes to Maan's cabin instantly and enters the cabin. Even forgetting to knock in his haste.

Assistant - Sir!! Madam-

M- Hm I know.

Assistant - I... oh...

Assistant sees Sir looking intently at the phone screen, he didn't look disturbed or troubled at all. Yet the assistant could feel the tension around him.

M- I can't get hold of her.

Maan spoke evenly. His voice didn't sound distressed, but it also lacked any inflections.

Assistant - Her assistant! I have her number. She is-

M- Send it to me.

Maan receives the contact and very next moment initiates a video call.

But the call is not answered.

Not only it isn't answered, but it was also disconnected and next time he tries calling he gets to know that his number is blocked.

Hmm 🤔 I think mocambo khush hoga but still considering Maans attitude he was relaxed & happy that his wife is capable of handling such situations & doesn't require him for such things

Finally Maans changed attitude shocks Geet a bit when he addressed her as wifey  ... She thought Maan is drunk 🤣🤣 seriously but it was fun and good that there was a level of comfort between them now

So preparing for shooting wind-up & she is planning to arrange her future projects when she accidentally got hurt & news reached Maan too ... I liked how Geet was determined to complete her work despite of severe pain 😔

Fabulous and Curious Update 

Wow , Maan calling Geet wifey was rather cute 

while she too gives it back to him calling him Husband.

Geet has injured herself but why is her assistant not answering Maan's calls

The chat convo was one of the best. Superb! Finally they are on the same wavelength. What? Maan blocked? He'll bring he'll!!
