Just came back after watching the movie. I have got mixed feelings about the movie. The scenes between Azad and the gals in the beginning of the movie were awesome. The train hijack scenes and the minister getting shot and Azad demanding for better facilities in government hospital were really good and entertaining. Then in the end I enjoyed father-son duo fighting with Kalia too.

However there were certain scenes in the movie that were painful to watch like the farmer's humiliation and suicide scene, kids dying scene and Aishwarya's hanging. There was no need to show these scenes in so much detail to bring that emotional quotient. Instead they became unbearable to watch and I felt like walking out of the movie hall.

SRK was good and so was Nayantara and the other ladies. Vijay Sethupati was amazing too. It's just a one time watch. Deepika too was too good.

2/5 only because I just couldn't bear watching lot of scenes of the movie.

I watched this Jawan and I would say this was way better than overrated Pathan smiley36 As an SRK fan bachpan se finally a movie where I see the charm and aura of 2000s SRK.Personally I loved the movie.

I was a bit late for the movie and I saw it was SRK bandaged in Mummy and fighting some goons and when asked kaun ho tum? He is like kaumn ho mai smiley36

So idk if there were scenes earlier . But then they showed SRK’s character hijacking a train and some helping him with the hijack. And a female police in charge, I was like wait are they copying Money Heist (male mastermind behind hijack and female police officer smiley36)

Then later, I realized oh its just for that train scenes some dialogues were funny. I liked how they had an equal mix of Bolly and South actor and actresses in the entire cast.

Nayanthara’s character was okay but I feel they could have shown more of her and Azad , there just seemed something missing. Their story wasn’t highlighted at all. I enjoyed Azad and cutie pie Suchi’s scenes more.

I kinda liked Sanya’s character in the movie I felt bad for her when she gave her 200% to save all the children but couldnt and worse she was falsely accused and taken to jail for it.

And then when the twist came of actual Vikram Rathore , for some reason SRK nailed the white-haired character really well. And about SRK-Deepika, not a fan of Deepika usually but I loved her a lot in this movie. Didnt expect to be this good! Not an emo person but her scenes brought tears into my eyes especially her scenes with young Azad, that song was my fav in the movie. What happened with her character was worst and pure injustice.

After that overall action was good, Vikram Rathore was funny smiley36 he stole the limelight from Azad , and the Irani twist was unexpected smiley36 And Sanjay Dutt’s cameo was good too smiley36

In the end they showed some really important scenes, they should have shown before the post credits , my mom was dragging me to go and I couldnt see that scene properly smiley6

Overall would give it 8/10

Do you want information about the end scene during the credits? (or did you get the information in the meantime?)

Thanks for your review.

I suppose that the OTT version will get extended, so, maybe more scenes with Azad and Nayantara's character Narmada.

Really? I have never tried Odeon one. I don't think Odeon shows indian movies, do they?

I usually have my Nachos with salsa and/or sour cream.

I'm in London.smiley36 Sometimes I go to the Feltham cinema when they're not showing the movie in my local area, but those seats are still so uncomfortable. 100 saal purana lagta hain. They need to rework on it.
