The Swinging Sixties (1960s):

Picture yourself in a colorful swirl of retro glamour, where Lata Mangeshkar's ethereal voice weaves dreams and Kishore Kumar croons tales of love under the moonlight. It's the era of joyful innocence, where melodies like "Mera Naam Joker" and "Aaja Aaja" make you want to break into spontaneous jigs. And who could forget the quirky, yet unforgettable, "Mere Saamne Wali Khidki Mein"?

The Groovy Seventies (1970s):

Hold onto your bell-bottoms as we move into the disco-infused '70s, where Amitabh Bachchan's swagger meets Asha Bhosle's sultry charm. The dance floors are alive with the electric beats of "Dum Maro Dum" and the funky vibes of "Yeh Mera Dil." R.D. Burman takes us on a psychedelic ride with his tunes that are as colorful as the era's flamboyant fashion.

The Whimsical Eighties (1980s):

Fasten your seatbelts as we zoom into the neon-lit, synth-driven '80s, where the cassette tape rules and the dance moves are as iconic as the heroes. The king of pop, Michael Jackson, has left his mark on Bollywood with moves like "Disco Dancer" and "Jhoom Jhoom Baba." Sridevi's magic sparkles in "Hawa Hawai," and every college canteen echoes with "My Name Is Lakhan."

The Grunge-N-Romance Nineties (1990s):

Welcome to the era of heartthrobs and heartbreaks, where Shah Rukh Khan's arms reach out to you through the screen. A.R. Rahman's musical symphonies give birth to emotions in "Roja," and Govinda's quirky dance steps create a storm in "Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan." We sway to the romantic ballads of Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik, only to break into a jig with "Chaiyya Chaiyya."

The Millennial Mix (2000s):

Fast-forward to the dawn of the new millennium. The millennium brought with it a potpourri of musical styles. From heartrending ballads to peppy dance numbers, the 2000s were a playground for experimentation. A.R. Rahman's enchanting compositions in "Lagaan" painted tales of resilience and unity, while "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham" harmonized the grandeur of familial bonds.

The Eclectic 2010s:

Here we are, in the decade of fusion, where indie artists rise and collaborations know no boundaries. Rap meets classical in "Gully Boy," and we're serenaded by the soulful melodies of Arijit Singh, Neha Kakkar, and more. Songs like "Senorita" take us on a whirlwind romance, while foot-tapping numbers like "Balam Pichkari" keep the festive spirit alive.

The Beat Goes On (2020s):

Hold on tight, as we catch a glimpse of the current decade, where Bollywood music continues to evolve with every passing day. The digital age brings global influences, and the lines between genres blur into a beautiful symphony of sound. From meaningful ballads to dance-floor anthems, the journey of Bollywood music keeps surprising us, one beat at a time.

for rafi kishore era i didnt expreinced ...i got to know about rafi due to sonu nigam.....

i can judge the 90s onwards.....1990s was romantic but then each and every song made during that time was similar kind of love songs churning in bulk quantity till AR Rehman reach and make experimental songs which standout in the entire 90s nadeem shravan type songs...

2000 is my most fav due to the experiments and emergence of new talent it has 90s type dholak songs , it has westrenized ballads, it has qawali's it has semi classical stuff ..... from sonu nigam diverse range of songs to KK high pitch vocal belting songs to udit narayan love songs from himesh foot tapping songs to rahat sufi songs ......None of the previous decades had this amalgamation of work which 2000 had neither it would happen in future i guess 2000 is one of its kind of decade in bollywood

Minty, i wrote the story out, but i remembered the movie name.

With the ugly big faced actor, and his delusional life.

It was Zor ka jatka.

Bakwaas movie to say the least, can't even find it on google.

Songs were nice.
