@bold: Oh goddd… this reminds me of a show I watched a long time ago, Ek Mutti Asmaan. (They were my previous fav lead tv couple from the south Asian drama world before YumHaj.) The ML ditched the FL, his “real love”, on their wedding day and then showed up late after getting legally married to the antagonist “for revenge” against the antagonist’s dad!!! Then a few days later he called the FL to the neighborhood temple and to the tune of dhoom tha na na, he threw sindoor on her forehead telling her that she was his real wife and not the legal paper wali wife 🙄 🙄 🙄! The fans went mad crazy and the production house got all kiiinds of gali after that sudden twist. Unfortunately the story went all ITV downhill from there. Hoping we don’t have that unpavitra type rishta here in TB ending :s
