How do flop stars keep getting work?

How do flops like Pooja Hegde still keep getting films?

Or some flop types get ads, TV or become influencers?

How does this work?

In past also, likes of Shilpa, Sonali were getting work despite flops. How?

How and why are producers or brands willing to invest in them? Some of whom are not even nepo kids like Abhishek, Esha, Twinkle?

Why do we add elaichi to our biryani? Same purpose

Didn't Shilpa have some successful films in her kitty

And Sonali wasn't that prolific

If the said flop star is a woman you know what people would say, either nepo or their 'services' or both

But for someone like Abi jr, don't know what's the answer

Not always, but sometimes flop stars are a lot cheaper to get than a successful one who will charge an arm and a leg. I guess it also depends on the movie, the role, etc. This would be my guess for actors. Actresses like Pooja Hegde, I think she’s had success down south. Besides, I don’t think she’s ever had anything to do in any of her movies other than look pretty and dance, and she is very good at both of those. A movie’s failure can never be attributed to her, not even slightly.

I completely fail to understand how Rajkumar Rao keeps getting leading roles in films. 99% of his films flops.

What about now ? He is reigning Filmfare Best actor award winner

simple. They just take a cut from the phantom profits they report to have made. Like SRK with Pathan. There is otherwise no way that bundle movie could have generated 1000 crores in profits, unless the audiences are dumber than one would have thought.😉😆
