The UK is even more educated, has a higher literacy rate, has a better healthcare system, better standard of living, higher HDI than Kerala, and YET hundreds of people from the UK went and joined ISIS, including the infamous "Jihadi John" who was an IT graduate.
None of these things you've mentioned makes a person impervious to religious indoctrination/brain washing. It really is a terrible argument.
We know many people from Kerala did go and join ISIS, we don't know the exact number, cause actual numbers will invariably be higher than official records. We also know that Kerala does have an Islamic fundamentalism problem, and a growing one, burying head in the sand won't change that reality.
p.s Osama Bin Laden was a civil engineer.
Well said . T takes diff.forms . Not just only weapons n war .If country is democracy so it takes it form . If country is capitalist , it takes it form , different strategies , forms to reach their targets . They recruit docs , IT etc.. from small to higher jobs , from uneducated to educated , highly educated .at end all are humans .
It’s releasing her this weekend. At first I didn’t think much of it but seeing all the hoopla now I want to check it out myself. Did anyone watch it?Can someone advice me if it is too disturbing or aggravating?

If people followed their own religion quietly and engaged in introspection instead of worrying what others follow and calling them evil this world would be a lot better place.
To each his own, leave people alone.
If you love your religion so much then make sure you do not fall in love with a person from another religion and then force him/her/them to change.
This👍🏼

Guys enough is enough. We tried to keep the topic clean, we tried a warning, but it seems like you want to talk (sorry we should bash) each other over religion, politics, and intolerance. This is supposed to be a review and BO thread for a movie, not a debate thread.
Thus we are closing this topic and going forward The Kerala Story (a Bollywood movie) can be discussed in the Debate Mansion instead of the Bollywood Forum since most here are interested in making it a topic of bashing rather than a topic of a movie that may have some realism in it.
