The last time these two sides met, Grace Harris produced one of the knocks of the season, catapulting the Warriorz to victory at the DY Patil Stadium. Harris has continued scoring runs since, with Alyssa Healy and Tahlia McGrath also getting into the act lately. The Giants, meanwhile, seemed to have stumbled upon a good batting formula against RCB, only for Sophie Devine to pummel them into submission and expose their slightly threadbare bowling unit.

Deepti Sharma: It was a very good experience in the previous game as we won. I contributed for the team and it felt good. There is always something to learn from every experience. (On their bowling) We discuss that we should back ourselves, I focus on bowling dot balls. The strategy is to back our strengths and stock balls. Our focus is to take one game at a time and we will definitely win if we do well.

The Warriorz, on the other hand, have several match-winners with the ball in their ranks. With pitches tiring and spinners coming into the game more frequently, the Warriorz could be a very tough proposition to crack for the Giants. Remember, this is an afternoon game and the Warriorz used that to their advantage to outlast the Mumbai Indians on Saturday. Gujarat, meanwhile, will be playing their first afternoon game this season.

Sneh says that the sun is out and the pitch looks flat. One change for the Giants - S Meghana has been replaced by Monica Patel. Healy hopes her bowlers can make the most of whatever conditions are on offer. Unchanged XI for the Warriorz.

Against UPW's spin-heavy attack - they used 18/20 overs of spin in their win against Mumbai Indians - Giants will have to come up with an equally good batting show, if not better, and then hope there isn't another equivalent of a Grace Harris heist from their previous clash to officially send them packing.
