The episode begins where Ashish and Maitree are at the hospital and introduces Maitree to the doctor saying she is the masi of the baby. The doctor asks if she has experience with babies? Maitree says no. The doctor gets concerned saying they cannot trust the baby's care with someone who has no experience in babies. Maitree tries to persuade the doctor that she can take care of the baby. Maitree asks to be tested. The doctor asks the nurse to bring the baby in and put it in Maitree's hands. The doctor agrees and says ok you can take the baby home. 

At home, Sona sips her tea and falls asleep. 

Maitree wants to meet Nandu and Ashish insists her to wear a red hoodie, be colorful in front of her friend and puts a small black bindi on her forehead. Ashish and Maitree try to wake Nandani up but unable to as doctors says do not stress her out. 

Some transgenders overhear a newborn is coming home so they decide to make noise and play dhols. Sona wakes up and says she cannot sleep. Kusum makes juice and brings it to Sona. Ashish & Maitree are on their way home with the baby.
