Where did I expect you to like or defend him? 

Actually Kangana literally had most of nation with her given how she made it issue of woman vs man, young woman vs older man (who was married and had kids then and she made him sound like a groomer or predator brainwashing young girls), outsider vs rich dynast and made herself sound like a lone warrior fighting off a powerful man who is also backed by a powerful producer dad. Then she dragged whole of Bombay media and award juries, claimed Javed Akhtar also threatened her and asked her to apologise or 'else'.

She got platform on all T.V. channels, websites, YouTube channels across ideology, be it show with Barkha Dutt, Ravish Kumar or Arnab and Rajat Sharma. Her interviews trended online and got lot of outsiders, strugglers, women victims of grooming by older men, share own stories online. For eg the Sahil Chaudhary vlogs guy started his YouTube channel after that and saluted Kangana as his inspiration and keeps ranting what a shit place BW is and how they treat outsiders and exploit them, do not give work without sexual favours, are mostly druggies etc.

Kangana also smartly kept dragging her issue with everyone at every chance she got, be it interview with K Jo or using SSR or drug case for her favour.

The industry may have supported HR quietly behind back but chose not to speak openly lest they got accused of ganging up on a lone female outsider who was portraying herself as sherni fighting off old boys' club.

Before she went total cuckoo, she did have support. Hrithik's interview with Arnab hardly got as much traction as Kangana's interview with Rajat Sharma.

Hrithik and industry got the message then, so both he and industry kept quiet.

Javed was the only one who took up issue with Kangana and filed defamation suit against her. And she still keeps ranting against him.

The support she gets from lot of people till date, including right wingers, who are in power, makes BW think it is best to leave her alone. 

This is also true. Salman has stood like a rock with his collegaues despite all rivalries.

He was first to meet SRK and suggested legal support when Aryan was arrested. He did cameo in Pathaan. He supported LSC. He had met Aamir and got closer to him after his first divorce. He again met Aamir after his second divorce and debacle of LSC. 

He may not tweet but he is there in person.

I must say others have not really shown up for him during his cases and controversies or break ups. As much as he showed up for other stars. 

She mis used her position as a female and as a outsider 

To the point I can’t trust outsiders or woman 😂 🤣

Considering how outsiders  never got voice in any industry in India, Kangana's tirades on nepotism made people even in legal, journalism and other fields share own stories of nepo kids getting favours. Nepotism is rife in India and kills merit. She struck a chord, she touched a raw nerve there. And most women hardly speak either so her speaking was seen as bravery. She was also smart to use small town origin issue and taunt she got for her lisping and poor English. That made her look like underdog and struck a chord with small town men and women across India who suffered similar issue. 

Her adding religion, ideology and nationalism to the mix, calling Bollywood some mafia, made her more heard by masses.

You may not trust her. But shockingly she still gets lot of support among RWers online. 

As long as they are in power, Kangana is safe. 

It’s hard for me to think nepotism or cronyism affected her when the system she fights is one that 

The one that allows her to turn down movies with Khans

Or get lots of money for Rangoon (more than the males)

Or the system that let her fire writers and directors ?

She seems to work well within the system 

Oh yes how could I forget the death threats to Sonam. Did a cop even ever question that 🤔 

^ I don’t think anyone who has been held back politically can turn around start throwing weight like this. It just doesn’t add up.

She bas backing from ruling party and that alone is enough to embolden her. Every other year they give her or her film some National award or Padma award. She got lucrative land deals in her home state in HP where BJP was ruling. She got Y plus security. She gets prime time slots to rant on any issue from RW channels like Republic.

For sure she is emboldened due to this backing that she never had earlier. 

There were rife rumours that she would get ticket to contest polls or get a Rajya Sabha nomination. Only during BJP rule she has made her own bigshot bungalow at a posh, expensive, scenic location in hills at HP, where others cannot even think of buying property.

You are right. She hardly questions nepotism and sexism in politics. Except that she does target nepo kids like Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, Tejasvi Yadav etc who are nepo kids in opposition parties. She keeps quiet on Jay Shah types and was silent on Badal family who were allies of BJP for decades. She knows what suits her. Plays her cards accordingly.
