On that note... our old literature is full of stories they could borrow.
Roja was an adaptation of Satyavan Savitri. Thalapathi was the Karna story. Ponniyin Selvan was of course the same story as the book.
Rajamouli borrowed liberally from Mahabharata for Bahubali. RRR was based on real characters.
But no... Bollywood can't find stories π€·ββοΈ

Heβs Lee Min Ho
Uske liye bheja mangta jo inlog ke paas nahi
All they know is copy paste aur vo bi dang se nai karte
Tezaab is not some great film that it should be remade.
And Ranveer does not have it in him to pull off Anil's role which was mix of innocence and bitterness.
Jhanvi is plastic and has nothing in her to play Mohini.
And then these bloody Bollywoodiyas ask why they are tanking.
Why remakes? Why no originality? Why same old plastic star kids who have no expression?
Jhanvi is gonna ruin Mohini.

No, that Hello was like a catcall 'Heylooow' *blush*. But I am kinda disappointed that this is MinHoπ. I was hoping to collect a new Oppa.π

It will always be great film for those who are fans of the 80s era masala movies with songs dance dialogues villains which we are missing these days

This is so fake why are people believing it?
Janhvi's entire schedule revolves around the two Dharma films and NTR30, which is guaranteed big hit. She's just been approached but I highly doubt the script is good enough for her to say yes. Ranveer is in an even worse position time-wise to say yes to such a big film.
It's the same thing with HP3 and the two Sri remakes (Naagin, Chaalbaaz in London). You can't live up to the original. No way it'll happen and if it does, they'll make sure the script is better.
They just don't seem to learn. π€¦ββοΈ
Hire a couple of writers, get an original script, hire good actors, make a watchable movie.
How is this difficult to understand?
Instead, they keep looking for shortcuts.
I mean they are still announcing remakes. I have no hopes. Except for four an occasional surprise release here n there.
