I am not able to take the whole thing seriously. Even sony is like ons hi toh manga hai, he is still Asha ki kiran 🤣

I don't understand Viaan. If he is so angry with Katha, he could have fired her right away or told her he was just testing her but no he agreed to all her conditions and even cancelled his dinner plans to meet her🤣

And he told his mom she shouldn't trust these women because a woman asked for socks for her kid🤣

In a way it’s a slow burn sizzle. Because I can imagine a scene where much later, the group goes out for drinks after a successful deal and our leads ke friends are having an argument about whether you need to be emotionally connected to have sex and our leads look at each other intensely. Each one of them replying together

“It depends” or

“Hart situation Ek jaisa nahi hota”

Or even they exchanging a volley of arguments or banter back and forth, his laced with guilt, which she interprets as cocky, hers with anger which he interprets as indifference, making him even more guilty.

The thing is end of the day, before the act, it seems like Viaan has the upper hand, but the story becomes even more interesting, when after the act, that flips and Katha has the upper hand.

It’s sort of my sarcastic take given how ITV plays out. In the sense, of how things that are horribly stretched usually become even bigger eye rolls. I have only watched a few clips of the OG and frankly am only here to see how the love story plays out, I am not interested in the side stories, but I understand the nature of TV storytelling. I just loved the intensity of the leads in the OG. I hope they achieve that here! I think they will bcos the actors are doing a great job so far.

Spot On! For me, His build up is important in this way to create a redemption build up. We can’t have him high emotion, we need him under the surface angry… at her now…at himself later
