Later that night after having that conversation with her mother Kalyani quickly went to her room to avoid further more questions of her mother on the other hand Madhuri was a little stressed about her daughter's strange behaviour which was eventually noticed by Atul when they were having their dinner.

Atul- Bas iske aage kuch mat bolna mujhe meri beti par pura vishwas hai pehle main bhi darta tha ki kahin kisi galat sangat mein naa padh jaaye ya fir kisi galat ladke ke chakkar mein lekin jab uska chehra dekhta hun na jismein kuch kar guzrne ka jazba hai aur jis mehnat se usne abhi tak sab kuch achieve kiya hai meri saari chinta door ho jaati hai

Next day went as usual day Kalyani went to her office and got busy in completing pending works so that she can go for her study leave peacefully on the other hand Malhar got busy with his shoot. Then Madhuri thought to smartly investigate about that day when Kalyani had stayed back at office

Madhuri- Acha... Nahi woh Kalyani ko kuch din bahut late ho raha tha na ghar aane mein issiliye pucha
Mitali- Late??? Magar Kalyani toh kuch dinon se ekdum time pe nikal jaati hai. Haan yaad aaya abhi 2 din pehle hi woh toh office se first half mein hi nikal gayi thi bichari ki tabyat kharab ho gayi thi main bhi fir leave pe chali gayi aur usse puchna hi bhool gayi. Aunty abhi uski tabyat kaesi hai sab theek hai na.
Madhuri was in a state of shock and replied- Haan abhi theek hai uski tabyat... Acha beta ab main chalti hun tum bhi dhayan se jana aur man laga ke kaam karna.

After that Madhuri went to her home and then sat on the sofa and began thinking-
Madhuri- Yeh Kalyani tujhe kya ho gays hai kab se tu itna jhooth bolne lagi apne parents se specially mujhse main toh teri best friend thi na. Main kya bolungi usse ki humari beti jhooth bolne lagi hai aur ghar se raat raat bhar kahan gayab rehti hai. Yeh kya kiya hai tune aaj ek aakhiri baar try karungi tujhse baat janne ki agar tune bata diya toh theek hai warna mujhe Atul ko batana hi hoga.
At evening when Kalyani arrived at home Madhuri quickly gave her dinner while she was freshing up and sat with her in the dining table.
Madhuri- Kalyani aaj ka din kaesa gaya sab theek tha na office mein
Kalyani- Haan madhuri sab theek hai bas aur 2 din office jaaungi fir study leave start ho jayegi fir seedhe exams ke baad join karungi

Madhuri thought- Teri Maa hun tera chehra padh sakti hun kuch toh hai jo tu mujhe batana chahti hai magar bata nahi rahi lekin kyun
Madhuri- Acha theek hai ab jaldi khana finish kar aur sone jaa

After having dinner Kalyani went to her room and Madhuri went back to complete her remaining works.
Next few days went like normal days only both Kalyani and Malhar used to talk on phone as were not able to meet due to Kalyani's exams and also she was on her study leave. Both were missing eachother but were somehow managing untill today as tomorrow was Malhar's birthday and both wanted to be with eachother.
It was 12 at night when Kalyani video called Malhar and he quickly picked it up-

Kalyani- Malhar Ji ab baccho ki tarah mat behave kariye... Bas aur 2 weeks ki hi baat hai waese bhi next weeks se hi exams hai fir hum zaroor milenge
Malhar- Acha ok abhi padhayi par dhyan do aur ache se exams dena aur mujhe proud feel karwana
Kalyani smiled and said- Haan ok bye..... And once again Happy Birthday

Malhar smiled and replied- I Love You Too.... Ab jaldi phone kaato nahi toh main aur tumhe khud se door nahi bardarsht kar payunga

Both disconnected the call, but Malhar didn't knew that Kalyani had some another plans for his birthday.
Next day in the morning Anupriya called her son to wish on his birthday-

Anupriya- Aaj ka kya plan hai
Malhar- Kuch nahi aai abhi shoot ke liye nikal raha hun fir shaam ko friends ke saath kahin jaunga party karne
Anupriya- Bas yahi kar tu har saal..... Kabhi yeh bhi bol ki apni girlfriend ke saath bahar jaunga taaki mujhe bhi khushi mile ki mere bete ki life mein koi toh aai
Malhar- Uske paas time nahi hai toh main kya karun
Anupriya- Kya matlab teri girlfriend hai??? Mujhe bataya kyun nahi abhi tak kaun hai, kaesi hai, kahan mili are photo toh dikha
Malhar- Aai Aai shant jaldi hi milwaunga aapse abhi thoda wait karna hoga aapko.
Anupriya- Lekin kyun
Malhar- Woh abhi hum mentally prepared nahi hain, jisdin honge sabse pehle aapse hi milwaunga
Anupriya- Acha theek hai chal jaane diya tujhe kyunki aaj tera birthday hai par mujhe jald hi usse milna hai
Malhar- Haan zaroor... Acha ab main rakhta hun mujhe nikalna hoga shoot ke liye
Anupriya- Haan bye... Apna dhyan rakhna aur uska bhi
Malhar smiled and said- Haan Aai khud se bhi zyada rakhunga

After that both disconnected the call and Malhar went to his work. On the other hand Kalyani has made all the plans for Malhar's birthday and to surprise him at his home.
It was evening when Kalyani kept all the things inside her bag and dressed nicely but not too loud as she does not want Madhuri to doubt on her and went to her mother to inform her that she is going for group study at Palak's residence.
Kalyani- Madhuri aaj hum friends ne group study ka plan banaya hai Palak ke ghar pe toh main wahin jaa rahi hun kal subhah aa jaungi
After listening this Madhuri doubted Kalyani but said nothing and just nodded.
Madhuri- Waese tu itne ache se ready hoke padhayi karne jaa rahi hai???
Kalyani got nervous but said- Kahan zyada ready hui hun... Tu hi toh bolti hai ki Kalyani thoda ache se ready hua kar ab ho gayi hun toh bhi tujhe problem hai

After her mother's approval Kalyani went from there to Malhar's residence, on the other hand just after Kalyani left Madhuri called Palak to confirm about there plan-
Madhuri- Hello.... Palak beta kaesi ho padhayi kaesi chal rahi hai
Palak- Hello aunty main ekdum achi hun.... Mere preparations toh ekdum ache chal rahe hain
Madhuri- Beta kisi din ghar aake Kalyani ke saath group study karlo na taaki dono ki help ho jaaye
Palak- Haan aunty main bhi yahi soch rahi thi..... Dekhti hun 2-3 din mein plan karti hun waese bhi kaafi din ho gaye Kalyani se mile.....
Madhuri- Toh tumlogon ka aaj koi plan hai kya agar nahi hain toh aaj hi aa jaao
Palak- Nahi aunty aaj ka toh koi plan nahi hai lekin aaj main nahi aa paungi aaj mera self study karne ka hi plan hai but pakka do teen din mein Kalyani se baat karke plan banati hun
Madhuri- Acha ok beta byee and study hard
Palak- Haan bye aunty
After disconnecting the call, Madhuri thought- Mujhe laga hi tha ki Kalyani jhooth bol rahi hai aur kahin aur hi jaa rahi hai aur dekho prove bhi ho gaya. Ab paani sir ke upar se jaa chuka hai aaj main Atul ko sab bata dungi ab humdono ko hi is cheez ko saath mein handle karna hoga. Kalyani mujhe pata nahi tu kya kar rahi hai aur kyun lekin jo bhi hai is tarah se jhooth bolna is not at all right ab tujhse baat karna hi hoga.
On the other hand Kalyani reached Malhar's home and somehow with the help of her hairpin opened his door lock and entered then took out all the decoration stuffs which she has kept in her bag and some other things also and then quickly ordered a cake so that as soon as she finishes all the arrangements cake will also be ready. After finishing the decoration she quickly went to kitchen to prepare something just then the cake also arrived. While she was doing all this Malhar was enjoying his birthday party with his friends but was also missing Kalyani just then Tarun asked Malhar- Yaar aaj toh apni girlfriend se milwa deta hume
Malhar- Haan maine socha toh yahi tha lekin woh abhi kuch dino se kaafi busy hai issiliye nahi laa paya use sorry

On the other side at Kalyani's home Atul was shocked after listening everything from Madhuri regarding Kalyani's changed behaviors, her lies and everything.
Atul- Madhuri itne dinon se yeh sab chal raha hai aur tum mujhe abhi bata rahi ho
Madhuri- Maine socha ki tumhe stress na dun aur khud hi handle karne ka try kar rahi thi lekin ab mujhse handle nahi ho raha. Bahut try kiya ghooma fira ke usse puchne ka magar woh kuch nahi bata rahi. Aur pata nahi raat raat bhar jhooth bolke kahan rehti hai
Atul- Ruko main abhi Kalyani ko phone karta hun aur usse ghar bulake saaf saaf puchta hun
Madhuri- Nahi Atul hum aesa nahi karenge agar aesa hi karna hota toh main pehle hi kar chuki hoti. Humne decide kiya tha ki hum humari beti ko puri azaadi denge aur ek aesa bond banayenge uske saath ki woh sab kuch khud aake humse share kare uske dost banenge naaki typical parents jinse unke bache kuch bhi share karne se pehle 1000 baar sochen
Atul- Lekin kya fayda hua aesa bond banake dekho aaj humari beti humse jhooth bolke pata nahi kya kar rahi hai
Madhuri- Woh chahe jo bhi kar rahi ho lekin mujhe pura vishwas hai ki kuch galat nahi kar rahi hogi woh

Atul- Haan tum theek bol rahi ho lekin main bolunga ki hum abhi yeh sab rehne dete hain kyunki next week se uske exams start hone wale hain main nahi chahta kisi bhi aesi waesi baat ke wajah se woh apna paper kharab kare uske exams over hone ke baad usse baat karte hain bas 2 week ki hi toh baat hai
Madhuri- Haan yeh tumne sahi kaha uske exams ho jaane do phir hum usse baat karte hain
On the side Malhar after the party got over reached his home it was 11:45 P.M. but when he arrived at his door was shocked to see it already opened and got a little scared but entered inside quietly and it was all dark as all the lights were off and as he entered inside someone grabbed him from his back and immediately he understood who is it but thought to tease her so said-
Malhar- Shipra tum.... Are main toh dar hi gaya
Kalyani got irritated and immediately left him and asked- Kaun Shipra??? Aur woh iss wakt aapke ghar mein kya karegi
Malhar laughed and grabbed her hand and pulled her closer and said- Koi nahi hai mujhe pata tha ki tum ho main toh bas tumhe tease kar raha tha
Kalyani- Malhar Ji.... Chodiye mujhe aap bahut bure hain main yahan aapko surprise dene aai aur app mujhe hi tease kar rahe hain

Kalyani- Theek hai maaf kiya aaj aapka birthday hai issiliye
Malhar- Waese tum achanak se kaese
Kalyani- Yeh sab baat baad mein karte hain pehle aap cake kaatiye birthday khatam hone mein bas 5 minute bacha hai

Malhar was very happy and surprised to see all the arrangements.
Kalyani- Yeh lijiye knife aur apne birthday ka last cake cut kariye
Malhar- Last cake mere life ke sabse important person ke saath
After saying this he grabbed her hand and cut the cake, at first Kalyani fed him then he fed her and she said softy happy birthday and then both kissed each other and then the clock struck twelve.
After that both sat on the sofa holding each other closely with Kalyani's head on his shoulder and he holding her hand tightly.

Malhar- Bahut hi acha... Mere life ka best birthday. Subhah se hi acha nahi lag raha tha yeh sochke ki main aaj tumse mil nahi paunga lekin tumne toh mujhe surprise hi de diya. Yeh sab plan kab kiya tumne.

Malhar- But tumne bina chabbi ke mere ghar ka door kaisa khola

Kalyani- Haan baad mein bhi celebrate kar sakte the lekin jo khushi aapke chehre par mujhe aaj dekhne ko mila woh uss din shayad hi mil pata. And don't worry maine apna syllabus almost cover kar liya hai baaki jo pending hai woh 2- 3 din mein manage ho jayega. Ghar par maine bola Palak ke ghar group study ke liye jaa rahi hun.
Malhar- Acha tab theek hai... Waise sach kahun mujhe tumhe yahan dekhke aaj bahut acha laga. Thank You mere birthday ko jaate jaate itna special banane ke liye

Both went to the dining table and Malhar was very surprised to see that how beautifully Kalyani has arranged everything.

Both had there dinner and after dinner Kalyani played music and pulled Malhar for a dance, both were dancing romantically and were lost in each others eyes then Malhar bent a little and softly said in her ears-

After saying this he picked her in his arms and carried her to his room after that both made love for hours and then slept in each others embrace.
Next morning it was Malhar who woke up first and as soon as his eyes opened he admired the beauty who was sleeping peacefully between his arms and thought-

Malhar- Are kyun nahi kitni achi lag rahi ho ruko main dusri shirt leke aata hun woh tumpe aur zyada achi lagegi aur khud tumhe usse pehne mein help karunga bilkul kal raat ki tarah

Kalyani- Acha theek hai exams ke baad jitna compensation lena ho lelena

Kalyani- Haan haan baba with interest. Ab chalen ready ho jayen

After few hours both got ready and had there breakfast and then were ready to leave just then Malhar stopped Kalyani-
Malhar- Kalyani ruko mujhe tumhe kuch dena hai

Malhar- Surprise hai apni aankhen band karo main abhi ata hun

Kalyani closed her eyes and Malhar went to his room and brought a box and then knelt down and tied a beautiful small anklet to Kalyani's leg and after sensing his touch she immediately opened her eyes and said-
Kalyani- Yeh aap kya kar rahe hain Malhar Ji
Malhar- Tumne abhi aakhen kyun kholi
Kalyani- Lekin aap chodiye mere pair mat touch kariye
Malhar- Kyun ab jo gift laya hun woh main hi toh pehnauga na tumhe tum chup karke baitho aur karne do mujhe jo kar raha hun
After he was done he asked her by raising his eyebrows that how it is
Kalyani- Its beautiful
Then she shaked a little her both legs and got happy listening to its sound and Malhar was adoring her happy face.
Kalyani- Aapko pata hai Malhar Ji mujhe na payal bachpan se hi bahut pasand hai aur iska sound I just loved it
Malhar- I am glad tumhe acha laga jab pehli baar isse dekha tab tumhi mujhe yaad aayi issilye turant le liya
Kalyani- Lekin birthday toh aapka tha aur gift mere liye kyun
Malhar- Gift dene ke liye koi mauka nahi dhoondhna hota tum itne dinon se door thi toh socha tumhare liye kuch loon taaki jab bhi gift ko dekhun toh tumhari yaad aaye ki tumse jald hi milna hai. Aur yeh payal toh mujhe pehli hi nazar mein acha laga iski jo awaz hai woh mujhe tumhare hasta hue chehre ki yaad dilati hai aur jab bhi tum isse pehen ke chalogi toh yeh tumhe meri yaad dilayega aur bolega ki koi tumhara bahut dil se wait kar raha hai. Iss payal ki aahat mujhe tumhare mere paas aane ka ehsas karwayega.
Kalyani- Main hamesha isse pehnungi taaki yeh mujhe hamesha aapse jode rakhe
After that both hugged each other.
Malhar- Ek aur cheez dena hai mujhe tumhe
Kalyani- Kya???
Malhar- Yeh....
Kalyani- Yeh kya chaabi... Yeh kis cheez ki chhabi hai
Malhar- Mere ghar ki taaki next time tumhe apne hairpin ka use na karna pade
Kalyani laughed and said- Ok next time is chaabi ka use karke hi ghoosungi aapke ghar mein
Malhar- Good ab chalo nahi toh late ho jayenge
Kalyani- Main ghar akele chali jaaungi aap apne shoot par chale jayiye
Malhar- Lekin kyun tumhe chodhte hue chala jaaunga main
Kalyani- Dekhiye Malhar Ji is wakt mere building mein bahut chaos hota hai agar kisi ne hame dekh liya toh problem ho jayega issilye aap chale jayiye main ghar chali jaaungi please...
Malhar- Acha fine ab itna please mat bolo and thank you very much mera birthday special banane ke liye. Mujhe tumhare exams khatam hone ka wait rahega.
Kalyani- Ismein thank you ki koi baat nahi hai aapka birthday mere liye bhi utna hi special hai jitna aapke liye... Ab chalen

Both left from there to their respective destinations.
Kalyani reached home and was smiling but as she entered her house both her parents were standing in the drawing room and when they saw her both stared her which looked strange to her and she asked-
Kalyani- Kya hua aap dono mujhe aese kyun dekh rahe ho aur Papa aap abhi tak office nahi gaye
Atul- Nahi woh kuch nahi bas nikal hi raha tha
Madhuri- Kaesi thi teri group study??
Kalyani felt a little awkward but replied- Haan achi thi
After saying this she excused her and quickly went to her room.
Madhuri- Dekha na Atul tumne kitni badal gayi hai humari beti. Saaf saaf dekh ke lag raha hai ki jhooth bol rahi hai lekin dekho phir bhi sach nahi bol rahi.
Atul- Haan Madhuri tum theek bol rahi ho exams khatam hone do phir baat karte hain. I just hope ki kisi bade musibat mein naa ho woh.

This story is reminding me of my ff “love that protects”. Uski bhi story aisi hi honi thi kuch hissa mein. But I had to keep it on hold for some reasons😞
But back to your update, madhuri is such a bright character. Bohot hi maturely handle kiya madhuri ne har situation. I think she could have asked Kalyani in a more straight way.

Yes you are right Atul and Madhuri are a great parents, in the show also I just loved both of there characters and always wished that they should have never died on the show and should have always there with Kalyani.
And Anupriya is a very supportive mother who just wants her children's happiness.
I have tried to show Malhar's nature as same as shown in the show with slight difference but just like the show here also he is and will always be concerned about Kalyani's career and will always support her. For him what matters most is his Kalyani's happiness.
This story is all about the balance which a relationship requires from both the sides of the partners whether its professional balance or emotional balance or family balance. And it is the responsibility of both the individuals to maintain this balance. Sometimes its Kalyani's responsibility and sometimes its Malhar's to see that this balance never gets hampers.
And why Kalyani is not telling anything to her parents specially Madhuri you will get to know in the further updates. But for now I can only say that if this would have been any other guy then she might have told everything to them but here it is Malhar so she is confused that how will her parents react to this most importantly Atul.
