Summary .......

The story starts off on a rainy night, Maan getting beaten up in the police station on a complaint which the inspector says to be given by Sameera for troubling and pestering her to love him. With a warning not to even think about the girl Maan is let go.. 

But Maan being Maan cared less and not caring for the heavily pouring rain directly reached Sameera's house on his bike and started yelling and calling out for her, that he trusted her and she doesn't need to worry about anyone, assuring that he would handle what ever come their way. 

But sadly he got no response from her and he got to know that her family had vacated their house from Sam's neighbor, who got disturbed from Maan's yelling. 

Maan was shattered hearing that!!! 

 1 year later.... 

Maan is grandly married off to Geet... Marriage goes on too well with all the fun and joy.. 

But he learns that it was a forced marriage for his wife on their first night, upon learning that she wished to unite back with her lover Dev, Maan agreed to divorce her when they would reach Delhi. 

Though Geet was surprised hearing Maan agreeing that easily she brushed it off. 

That day Maan after moving out of the room Maan has a flash back ,i.e,. 6 months ago when Maan accidentally met Sam. Maan who was too happy went on and on of how he was madly searching for her everywhere, though she could see Maan's stressed and messed up state she couldn't console him.  

That day Maan was heartbroken, upon learning about her marriage, hearing her plead to not come back and create problems for her hurt him thinking that's what she had understood about him. 

Maan left from there hurt but when he turned back he saw Sam's husband was non other than the inspector who had torchured him in the station, that replaced his pain, hurt and broken self with a rage, fire and anger that could burn down anyone that came his way that day. 

Again after 3 months Maan is confronted by his parents, after he shifted to Delhi from Amritsar, to leave behind things and start fresh. Though he succeeded in it, he failed to see what his parents were going through because of his aloofness, who were his world to him. To keep his parents happy he gave into their wish and agreed to get married to the girl of their choice. That's how he ended up getting married to Geet. 

All the while he was staying in Amritsar, he tagged an uninterested Geet along with him, with a smile on his face showing how happy as a couple they were, which Geet didn't like even a bit. Later she confronted Maan about the same, and learned that he was doing all that for his parents happiness. She was later shocked upon hearing that he too was in love. 

They reach Delhi after a week only to be welcomed warmly by his neighbors who congratulated them on their wedding. 

That evening Maan requests Geet to cook something, for which he got to know that she didn't knew how to cook. Though tried he dragged himself to make Maggie, the only dish he knew to cook.. 

Next day Maan gives Geet the address of lawyers office after accidentally barging into the room when she was getting dressed. He informs that he would join her directly at the lawyers office, after completing his program. 

Maan, is a famous RJ, gets an assignment to interview an old couple who were celebrating their 50th anniversary the very first day after his returned. The irony of his life, his marriage was just a week old that was on the verge of breaking and he had to interview a couple celebrating their 50th anniversary. 

This was the profession that brought him out of his past and had helped him move on. He kept aside his personal life and had a lovely interview with the couple who gave friendly advices to the listeners..

On the other hand Geet reaches the lawyers office, where for her bad luck she sees the lawyer too engrossed in listening to Maan's show. 

This is the short jist of the story till now, Geet has all the while been too rude to Maan, though Maan has been calm and cool not bothering her but that doesn't mean he kept quiet listening to all of Geet's nonsense and gave it back to her im such a way that would leave Geet in no possible way of answering him back.

Hope this post finds you all in good health and care.. 

Well I just can't get away with a sorry everytime I couldn't find time to update the stories, and it has been a very long time, so here is the summary of the story so far. I don't want you people to go and read the whole 6 parts of the story to know what all the story is about. 

I couldn't be regular, though I tried.. I'm just too packed up from my side. 

Will update the next part tomorrow..

Hi everyone, hear goes the next part. For those who have forgotten the plot of the story, their is a small overview in the above post. I request u all to please go though it before reading the next part. 

Part 7:

Geet noticed him hearing to the radio..the RJ was explaining the sacredness of marriage, rituals and their meaning..she did recognize the voice.

"Maan?" 

Lawyer was nodding his head in amazement listening to such wonderful description the RJ was giving, he was amazed to know that the boy of the younger generation had good knowledge about all these. 

The program came to an end leaving a happy lawyer there. 

"Wah...kya bathe ki iss ladke ne." he was all of praises, when he noticed Geet sitting opposite to him, he had almost forgotten about her presence. 

"Kahiye, mai aap ki kya help kar sakti hu?" Mr. Rao (Lawyer) asked. 

"Wo..divorce ke liye apply karna tha.." 

"Hmm..shaadi karke kitne din hui hai? "

"Ek hafte."

"Ek hafte!" he asked shocked, while Geet was confused seeing the lawyers reaction and thought if it was too early to be asking for divorce.. But hearing what he said next startled her. 

"Very good, very good. Kuch logo ki to sirf do he din....parso to hadhi hogai ti, airport paunch ne se pehle direct mandap se aayete...so unsab ko agar dekha to Ur's is the longest married life." 

Hearing this Geet couldn't help but force herself into an awkward smile. 

"Congratulations...hehe he."

"Kaha phasa diya aapne (Maan) mujhe." Geet thought. 

"Aapki yajaman kaha hai?" 

"Grr" this irked her more, but didn't show it and answered.

"Aarahi hai." not a second had passed after she said this, they heard Maan's voice 

"Aa. I'm here, sorry." he rushed in and took his seat beside Geet. 

Mr. Rao adjusting his glasses asked. 

"Why have you people decided to divorce each other?"

Maan glanced at Geet to see if she would answer but seeing her sitting quiet, he answered himself 

"Sath me rehna pasand nahi hai..isliye.."

"To aap log ne shaadi kiya hi kyu?"

"Upon families insistence.." Geet answered. 

"Tch..tch.. Tch. Paise waste hai na?" he felt bad for their parents for wasting so much money, only for them to get divorced in a week! So he tried being the money matter so that they could at least think of giving a chance to each other thinking about their parents.. 

"Agar aap yese bath kare to.. Time waste hai na?" Maan answered this time. 

"Isska mathlab aap dono ko divorce confirmly chaye.." he asked disappointed. 

Maan once glanced at Geet, before answering with a strong determined voice 

"Undoubtedly." 

Mr. Rao again asked "Aap dono ko be ye manzoor hai haina?"

"Ji, bilkul." Geet answered, while Maan noded in yes. 

"Teek hai."

He unwillingly accepted, but still tried to make a final attempt for convincing the young couple out there to give a chance to each other. Something in him told that they would make a very good couple if they given a chance. Him being a lawyer had seen many couple coming for divorce on matters like the husband snores, fight between couples on who should do the dishes, cooking, ego, etc. 

So he too thought their case is also more or less the same, so he tried one last time 

"Phir be mai aap logo ko ek bath batana chati hu. Aabi aabi to radio sunn rahi ti, usme ek ladke ne program ko kitne acche se sanchaalit (conduct) ki.. Shaadi ke bare mai kitne acche se bath kiya... Agar tumne (pointing towards Maan) bi suna hota to.."

It was clearly visible in his voice and face about how excited and proud he was while talking about the RJ, not knowing about what he would hear next. 

Maan though hesitated, still went on and said, smiling sheepishly "Wo RJ mai he tha sir.."

Poor Mr Rao, experienced a mild stroke and collapsed on the table after hearing what Maan said.. 

Maan didn't expect this reaction, and Geet was like, ye kya hogaya. 

Both of them together tried waking up Mr. Rao 

"Sir..sir.. Kya hua, sir.... Sir."

Rao raised from the table after coming from the initial shock, he removed his glasses and rubbed his face with his palms, shaking head and next minute he shouted at Maan 

"Sari duniya ke logo ki zindagi teek karne gaye ho... Lekin tumhari kudh ki zindagi barbad horahi hai."

"Arre, kya kiya jasakti hai sir. Peet kiliye sab kuch karna padta hai." saying this Maan started drumming the table. 

The lawyer who had became Maan's fan a while back now was irritated with his answer and top of it his drumming irritated him more.. 

"Chup." Mr Rao tilted his head back and called his P.A 

"Surekha, aaye idhar"

"Ji sir."

"Un dono se divorce application pe sign le lijiye."

"Ok sir." she went in to get the papers. 

While Mr Rao, shook his head to come out of the shock that the person whom he was all praises a while ago was Maan himself. 

Geet was signing the paper, while Maan being bored started drumming again only to be silenced again by Mr. Rao 

Geet after signing was about to pass the paper to Maan when the lawyers assistant requested her to sign along with Maan's name. (I don't think it's asked, but it is added on purpose..because this scene is much needed in one part of the story.)

"Usski zaroorath nahi hai." and passed it to Maan, who gave her a whatever I don't care look and signed the paper.

"Uff.. Katam hogai na?" asked Maan thinking that since they have signed the paper now they are divorced. 

"Haa... Abhi abhi to application pe sign kiya hai, next court attend kijiye.. Uski badh pata chale ga ki katam hogaya ki nahi."

Both Maan and Geet looked at each other, this was just the start! Sirf application pe sign kiya hai? Oh God. Already itna lecture suna pada, aage kya hoga!

They came out of the office, while Maan offered 

"Ghar ke liye na? Chalo mai he drop kar le ti hu." 

"No, thank you. Mujhe aapna rasta pata hai.. Auto.. Auto. "

She got into one of the auto and left. 

Maan sighed, murmuring "Akoodu" and he to left from there following her auto..

Nice update… wonderfully written 

so Geet realised that Maan is the RJ

great that the lawyer was clearly impressed with RJ... Maan's thoughts 

well Geet reveals she is there to apply for a divorce

finally Maan arrived

the lawyer's questions were reasonable

at least he tried to make them see reason

he had a point 

but both Maan and Geet wanted the divorce 

pleased that he made on last attempt mentioning what the RJ said about marriage

of cos Maan stated that he was the RJ

the lawyer was shocked

good that he confronted Maan

sad that Maan and Geet signed the application papers

this is just the start of the process

not surprised that Geet refused Maan's offer to drop her home

Fabulous and Interesting Update 

The lawyer was so fascinated with the RJ Maan

but disappointed to know that the same person has come

with his wife for a divorce .

Geet seems very arrogant towards Maan

 I know she loves Dev , but that does not mean she has to be mean to Maan

Lawyer was reasonable. Both Maan and Geet are annoyed at so many questions lol 😆
