This discrepancy does happen according the calculations in the western and Vedic astrology.

Like my ascendant is Aries as per Western astrology but Pisces as per vedic astrology.

I think vedic one is more accurate but in determining a personality of someone i have found Sun sign to be more accurate in contrast to moon sign (which vedic astrology believes in). However vedic astrology has a concept of dashas which western astrology lacks. Mahadasha and dasha are very accurate in determining a certain period of ur life.

If u r interested u can download the software 'Parashar's Light' 7 or above (u can get it in torrent). Then check the interpretation and other things including dasha interpretation for a specific period of time. It's a very good software.

If u are not sure of seconds then enter anything in the seconds slot in the entry filed of horoscope construction.

Just enter the hour, minute and date, along with the city u were born in, in any Indian horoscope site.

Western astrology considers sun sign while Vedic Astrology considers moon sign. People born in the particular date/ month period have the same sun sign but different moon signs.

My whole life I hv been reading western zodiac.. no wonder life events were never happening according to newspaper zodiac 🤦‍♂️

Indian ya hindi wale mostly moon sign based hote hain. Toi wale according to date and month matlab Western based hote hain. Check if the zodiac refers to date (western) or first letter of ur name (vedic meaning moon sign)

Birth time ya first letter of our names? Pandit ne letter alag nikala tha but ghar walo ne Naam kisi aur letter se rakha hai 😆
