Boycott campaign obviously. Thugs of Hindustan had a huge opening even though it was far worse.

Not watching a movie for bigoted reasons is dumb and should be mocked. I'm fine with people saying LSC sucks and they didn't watch it because the trailers were lacking

But its obvious there is a real hateful boycott campaign against this movie, denying that is silly at this point

BW and especially Khans were fortunate enough these yrs to get away with the anti hindu & anti-national propaganda.  

India & Hindus have been over tolerant till date.Now a slight uproar from audience-there is all this cry & hue& victimcard. 

Henceforth BW & stars can't enjoy their entitlement to do fabricated propaganda and anti Hindu preachings. They ought to cut their tails. 

Watching a film or not is a choice. No one is doing riots /no vandalising theatres nor giving death threats to Aamir like the desert cult. 

Putting audiences in their place--Oh yes..Audience has rightly put lsc in its place.

The boycott is not as widespread as some people are making it out to be in order to cover up the film's evident shortcomings. 

In any case, I don't feel that moviegoers should be mocked for choosing not to purchase tickets for any film. The original post suggested that Indian audiences be criticized for their rejection of the film, which is rather unreasonable, in my opinion.

Lack of promotion like usual Aamir films. Aamir never marketed it like 3 Idiots or even TZP.

Lack of catchy songs. Music is good but it is sombre and situational. 

Lack of freshness in cast. Aamir and Bebo are not gonna generate excitement like old days. PK atleast had Anushka and D3 had Katrina, Dangal had no heroine but atleast lot of new faces, it did not look jaded.

Not a Christmas or festival release.

Negative campaign against Aamir, Bebo, Atul and the film which continues till date thanks to BJP IT cell that is still spreading lies against the film. At some places various so called senas attacked theatres and asked to stop screening of LSC. Also, they have made it some cause of nationalism or Hindu pride to boycott this film and teach Aamir KHAN and Kareena Kapoor KHAN a lesson.

Not too appealing trailers and teasers unlike Aamir's previous films like RDB, Ghajini, 3I, Lagaan, Fanaa, Dangal etc.

This movie failed beacuase the trailer was horrible and most of us feel like Aamir acted really bad. This controversy was created so that people will go and watch this movie.

Anurag Kashyap is trying the same for his movie.

Do you feel  Ek tha Tiger, Sarfarosh, Main Hoo Naa were anti India movies? No. They were hit movies. People also liked their other movies too.

It looks like Aamir has lost his touch with reality after seeing his script selection. SRK and Salman still understand bad script means  movie failing on box office. They have accepted their age too. This is something Aamir has yet to understand.

Aamir was first to accept age which is why he did Dangal and played dad to grown girls and also played dad in Talaash and had Rani opposite him instead of younger girls like Anushka or Deepika.

He is playing dad in LSC also and there is a reason he took Bebo and not a younger actress.
