I had to complete movie in 3 installments. So boring 😩😩
Watched the movie last night. Very boring. I can’t believe it made the 80cr that it did make. Like seriously, how?!!
Varun is a mediocre actor. His emotional scenes came across as kind of amateurish and overacting are the same time. He was the weakest link of the film for me followed by Neetu, but her character was very sweet so it was easy to forget her forced crying scenes. Keeku on the other hand was annoying, obnoxious, and frankly had self control and anger management issues. Naina should have gone through with the divorce.
Kiara looked gorgeous and she was very good. She needs that one good script and director that can be her breakthrough role and she’ll be unstoppable.
Manish Paul and the girl that played the sister were good but their characters were barely there. Specially the sister. How did she not hear all the yelling and screaming around the house? Manish Paul’s character was used for comic relief. I thought he did well with what he had but his character could have been given more importance than just a tag along. He still had more screen time than the sister.
Anil was good but his character was such a dick that you actually hated him. I guess kudos to Anil for doing a good enough job to make me hate him 😆 I think his character basically got away with everything with the ending implication that he’ll win his wife back. The whole thing seemed like a joke or time pass to him.
Overall, a convoluted screenplay with cliche ending.
Boring. Turned it off after 30 mins
mee too.. turned off in 30 min.
Don’t feel like writing a big review but will do anyway lol.
The movie let me down by it’s writing which I was not expecting.
The movie is too emotional to be sold as family comedy, they could have put more comedy and less drama in the first half and the movie would have been just fine.
The second half picks up pretty well, all the four lead actors were amazing in this part. I was not expecting Varun to be this good in emotional scenes but he and kiara were amazing together.
Also I can’t tell you how amazing felt to finally see a movie where female leads actually decides to leave her cheating husband for good.
Let down by writing big time.
2.5/5
I finally finished the movie and to me it just seemed like everything was rushed. These pandemic movies are certainly missing something. The comedy felt very heavy footed and unnatural to me.
None of the performances were good. Actually I found Manish Paul to be the best. He was hilarious. He is better looking and a better actor than Varun
Varun - trying too hard
Kiara - not trying enough
Anil - looked bored
Neetu - wooden, expressionless and dull.
I rate it 2/10
3 years of jug jugg jeeyo- Kiara Varun Anil Neetu
