I will say she is best mother in law. She was also a victim of circumstances. When to have chose a side she always chose the part of person whom she feels wrong . Also she have her own dreams but that dream’s doesn’t persist so long , that she never inclined to any side . First 300episodes upto her last episode … she is only one a side character which shows a growth. Aparna who has played an important role in development of imlie … who teaches the family values for imlie in form of forgiving and co ordinate the members… upto fight for family . When Malini was her dil she accepted her whole heartedly . When problems between Malini & Adhi starts she try to resolve by avoiding third person but she doesn’t blindly blame imlie .. she mainly blame her son. When truth of marriage comes she slapped Adhithya by saying that he betrayed Malini … After few episodes we saw her own inner turmoil for accepting the truth… She said to imlie I will love you as much or as a daughter you leave Adhithya . She was mother to imlie till last epiosdes . She even doesn’t go against imlie very much after SK shot Adhi , she is also in shock that imlie allowed SK to escape … never crossed a line by slapping . The moment after wards Aparna toned down & gives imlie silent support when Malini was turned to her evil side more. She always supported imlie at a time try to avoid conflicts maximum in the worst situation which her family was facing . She wholeheartedly support imlie even when she was moving with Aryan . Be it Malini or imlie she was always good mother in law . Imlie she is more mother .
