May be she want Sanskrit as national language becos it’s oldest language n all d languages Telugu , Tamil , Hindi , Gujarati etc..came from Sanskrit , it’s common thread which unites Bharat .

Commenting to file petition for Sanskrit as official lang is uncalled for . Commenting , spreading misinformation being non Indian based on assumptions about india is uncalled for . So just given info tat Sanskrit is already one of d official language.

Tamil certainly didn't come from Sanskrit. It is in fact thought to be older than Sanskrit by some scholars.
Regardless, Sanskrit comes from a proto Indo Aryan language. Tamil is very definitely Dravidian. Separate language family.

I'm puzzled by that. It was the language in which the epics were told by bards. So how is it not spoken?
