This was soft, Chris Rock even compared his wife with a badass action hero from the 90s (GI Jane). He could have gone way harder especially with the whole bizarre "open marriage" stuff.
It was pathetic that Will lashed out like this
Will Smith was laughing when Chris Rock was talking shit about his wife. I wonder why his wife didn’t slap Will instead? Regardless of whether the joke was appropriate or not, there are better ways to handle the situation. Will could have pulled Chris aside and spoken to him about it. Instead, he just looked like an idiot, laughing at the jokes, then coming up on stage and resorting to violence.
