Here's part 2 of the FF...Thanks to all the folks who read and encouraged part 1. This one is a little longer , but I had to make it as a single post for the sake of continuity . Hope you enjoy .....

Part 2(A)
Anuj woke up with a searing headache and a severely parched throat. He blinked rapidly , trying to look for his specs and realized one of his hands were nestled loosely in the hands of Anu’s sleeping form besides the sofa . He took a minute to marvel at its warmth , before the ache in his throat made him realize he needed water urgently.
Trying to be as quiet as possible so as not to wake her up , Anuj stretched his aching limbs and made his way to the kitchen . As he sipped on a glass of water , the buzz in his head cleared somewhat ... only to be replaced by hazy recollections of the unbelievably crazy things he had done yesterday . As his mind struggled to connect the dots , he felt a familiar sense of guilt and panic rising in him as he turned to look at Anu’s sleeping figure near the sofa .
Meanwhile Anu had also woken up and rushed towards the kitchen to be by his side , asking hastily , her voice almost choking with worry - “ aap theek toh hain ? Kuch chahiye kya ? “
“ Main theek hun , bas panee peene ke liye utha tha , tum so jao “ Anuj gulped a large sip of water in nervousness, trying to detect signs of disappointment or anger in her beautiful eyes , but instead found his heart melting at the unabashed concern in them .
Anu heaved a sigh of relief and did a quick prayer of thankfulness to her Kanhaji . Opening her eyes , she found Anuj clutching the counter , as if a little dizzy , his face concerted with pain .
“ Kya hua Anuj ? “
“Kuch nahi , bas sar mein bahut zyada dard ho raha hai “ he replied , trying to put up a brave front .
“ Aap idhar aa jayie aur araam se baitheye " Anu lead him towards the sofa and started fumbling around in her purse for a painkiller and balm . She remembered her own terrible experience from the previous year Holi when she had consumed Bhang , the splitting headache and the horrible hangover afterwards .
Making Anuj lie down on the sofa and sitting besides him, she gently took his head in her lap and started applying the balm as if it was the most natural thing to do in the world . Anuj’s eyes almost teared in amazement and gratitude at her gesture, aware that her concern had allowed her to so easily transgress what would earlier have been considered a boundary . As her nimble fingers massaged his temple , he closed his eyes to savour the moment , as he felt all his pain and anxiety magically disappearing away .
Looking down at the handsome face , which had captured her heart and soul , Anu found all of last night’s turmoil and emotions returning . To quieten the turbulence in her heart , she too closed her eyes momentarily and a deep sigh escaped her . Unconsciously her fingers began to trace a pattern while massaging his forehead - the letter “A” ... Anu realized maybe her world too had begun to start and end at this letter .
Anuj opened his eyes , peering lovingly into Anu’s large ones and then gently took one of her hands to lay against his cheek . Her heart fluttered as her fingers almost touched his lips and she felt a sensation she had never felt before .
“ Anu suno ....” Anuj began in his husky voice , when the sudden ringing of her mobile broke their moment nastily . Anu hastily went across the room to take the call which was from Samar , who had called to enquire if everything was ok .
“ Haan sab theek hai yahan , Bapuji ko bhi Bata dena , Mai baad mein baat karti hoon “
Anu told Samar and disconnected the call .
But instead of returning back to the Sofa , she started making her way to the kitchen , muttering “ Mai kuch khane ke liye bana dete hoon , aise bhooke pet rehna theek nahi “
Anuj glanced at her once to check if anything was wrong , then sighed in resignation and said jokingly-“Haan mai bhi naha leta hoon , mere paas se najane kaisi ajeeb si smells aa rahi hai “
Part 2(b)
Anuj returned from his shower and found Anu still on in the kitchen , her head lowered and her overall gestures indicating that something was not quite right . Looking at her troubled eyes , he found his heart sink the same way it had when she had found out about Mukku . A familiar sense of panic and fear was rising in him and he tried to fight through it as he joined her in the kitchen to help out .
“ Yeh kha lijiye “ Anu mumbled and gestured towards the plate of food and coffee she had prepared .
“ Tum bhi idhar aake kuch kha lo na “ Anujprodded gently .
“ Mujhe bhook nahi hai “ she replied , resolutely avoiding his eyes .
“ Mai tumhare bina nahi khaunga “ Anuj persisted . This time he was determined not to give in to his instinctive feelings of guilt and self blame , rather help Anu process her painful ones and comfort her in any we he could .
“ Yeh kya bachpana hai Anuj ... “ Anu started , then realized looking at his expression that he was trying to force her to scold him .
Her features softened visibly as she glanced towards his face , which revealed that he was almost wearing his heart on his sleeve . Stifling a sob , she turned away from him and towards the kitchen again .
“ Anu pls , tum he jitna daantna hai mujhe daant do ... but kuch toh bolo, tumhe pata hai main tumhe pareshan nahi dekh sakta “ implored Anuj .
At this moment both their mobiles rang simultaneously indicating a message . Glancing away from her turned profile , Anuj opened his chat to see a photo from Samar of the two of them standing together , taken a few minutes after they had celebrated their maiden blissful Holi with each other . Looking up , he noticed Anu look at the same picture on her phone and noticed her expressions change .
The last time it had taken place , Anuj had been too taken aback to process what had happened . But this time he knew exactly what they both yearned . Walking towards Anu , he opened his arms and she ran into them , hugging him tightly and washing away all her pent up emotions. Holding her in his arms , he realised that just as the Bhaang had allowed him to wash away years of anguish and suppressed emotions in his heart , Anu was right now allowing herself to let go , intoxicated in his embrace.
Yaar, if you write such beautiful FF the realization hits even more how badly Anu treated Anuj in the serial.
