All the women who are "ideal" or good according to him are the ones who stay at home and only do typical Indian bahu things (not that there is anything wrong in that or its not a valid choice to make for any woman. Just don't glorify one and demonize the other)

I wonder will it b same treatment for men who work abroad n family in India? When they come back don't family welcome them with arthi ke taali.

Forget abt what mother behaviour is. Ridesh is so insensitive that he is getting his daughter married to someone who don't like her. He really don't care how his daughter is treated and how her life will b post marriage. Now she is buying cakes n muffins to k family without asking anyone. Post marriage can she do without asking in-laws to her parents? Bad father I must say.

And this show is nothing new. All female adjusting n accepting however ML ridicule FL. ML is such a educated and his mindset is so backward. Can we expect in future that ML mindset changes? And even K family.

Well I don't really care if Maya is negative or not cos that's not going to affect how I view career oriented women but I get your point, especially in Asian countries. And I understand why many people are frustrated on this aspect, in a way glorifying housewives and putting down career oriented mothers.

Also, lots of parents left their children because they just couldn't be a parent, parenting is hard and many parents don't realise the responsibilities they have. Some find it easier to go away and leave the kids with the grandparents or one parent. Or just after having kids, don't want to parent.

I feel Maya never wanted to be a parent but knowing itv I'm sure it's not this way.

But I also know itv wouldn't be addressing these. So 😊

It's because when men prioritise career over family it's a strategic decision for the betterment of the family.

But when a woman does it, it's a "calculated selfish move".

When Men give up on good career opportunities, it's praised like they are literal saints. Which fair enough they are sacrificing their ambitions to keep the family happy and together.

But with women, this is an expectation, like it's a given that obviously the woman will choose her family over her own dreams and aspirations. And not fulfilling it automatically makes them a horrible selfish person unworthy of respect.

I'm sure Riddesh ka kuch galti will be revealed later. But they will either brush it off or show it like Maya was being unreasonable.

ITV cannot show a strong opinioned woman without making her evil. Because only men have the right to be logical, assertive and correct. Women are only manipulative, aggressive and demanding.😐
