Two Avatars of Male Leads

Why do Male Leads have only two modes - Angry Avatar and Simp Avatar. They are either in full gussa mode where nothing that the girl says matters or they're in full simp mode where they cannot see anything beyond the girl.

Why is there no in between? In Simp Avatar, the family goes for a toss, career goes for a toss...whatever the girl says is sar aakhon par. They blindly go with whatever their love interest says or commands. They follow the girl like love sick puppies. They fight for the girl..if someone even hints something negative about the girl, the ML will bash them up or teach them a lesson.

The other extreme is of course the Angry Avatar, the family becomes priority. They believe everything that the world says against the girl. They don't want to look at the girl, they don't want to talk, they don't want to clear anything up. They say mean things, make the girl feel jealous, humiliate her and basically do everything that they promised to never do.

Why can't they show Male Leads balancing both these avatars? Why can't they be in love but still disagree on certain issues? And why can't they be angry and still agree to discuss and sort out issues?

There are some characters like in diya aur bati hum who support his wife to become police it show how husband support wife in general what u say is correct it's basically which is showing in tv

Sadly, those kind of supportive characters are not considered macho enough 🤔

Only if the hero pulls and pushes the heroine he's macho and a "real" hero..

Only ever seen one Male lead (neil of naamkarann played by zain imam) who was neither a silly puppy for female lead, or toxic in any way towards female lead. He was intelligent and calm.
