Feel sorry for the talents like Chandraprakash Dwivedi the writer of this or the actors like Sonu Sood for being a part of this unintentional Comedy!

these movies are being funded by the party he is fond of

Oh dude please. People may have died younger due to infectious diseases but by no means is biology different or aging earlier. Yes due to stress and external circumstance people may look significantly older in their 50s (may look 60+) but young people still look young.

The reality is these aged actors just cannot give up younger roles. Akshay needs to finally accept his age and play roles that suit him instead of forever romancing young women.

One of my favorite roles of Saif recently was Jawani Jaaneman where he played a father to a young woman who's pregnant, and basically became a grandfather by the end of the movie. I don't wanna watch them prancing around with young girls anymore. It's creepy AF, and ironically makes these guys look even older than if they were romancing women who are closer to their age.

People complaining about Akshay's age and that he should have been replaced by a younger actor or HR should realize that this project was made for Akshay. YRF knows Akshay's star power (Sooryavanshi is a hit, for whatever reasons) and the way RW looks and supports him.

Idk why I am saying this, but if they stuck with him, they should have atleast taken an older actress to suit him (Sushmita would have looked good against him as the princess with looks that inspired ballads)

Production value seems quite cheap.

Casting is bad because Akki just doesn't suit, and most importantly doesn't have an epic BGM.

As shit as Bhansali is as a story teller, his movies are just straight up gorgeous and give a grand feel, which is generally missed in other BW historicals.

Ashutosh Gowarikar movies are beautiful to look at too. This movie looks like a parody. I feel bad for Manushi. What a waste of a good story

The yellowish color tone in war sequences is becoming an eyesore.Hope makers in future avoid it.Akki looks older than the char.Manushi looks pretty. Her introduction shot was straight out of Padmavat. That last bit was too much. The dialogues are so cliched.Every film these days have it.Atleast should have avoided the ones mentioned above to cut a teaser.

For a YRF film the production value looks really cheap... This looks really mediocre.

They seemed to have gone with really dull makeup for Manushi which is making her look older than she actually looks in real life. Perhaps they wanted to make sure she does not look too young paired opposite Akki.  Also her costume and jewellery is not eye catching, looks cheap. Usually period and historical movies have great costume and jewellery for one to look at.

Did not expect much acting from Akshay so not surprised there. This does not need to be said but he is and looks to old to play Prithviraj

Looks like garbage..Akshay is completely miscast and looks like freaking Bala from Houseful 4. Him romancing such a young actress is beyond disgusting too

This shit should flop but knowing the audience it probably won't
