Though the big win improved their NRR tremendously, I won't put India in the semis yet.
There is a remote chance India, Afghanistan and NZ ending up with 6 points each, which can happen only if NZ wins only one of their remaining two matches.
India needs to indirectly topple those two teams without fighting with them, which is a challenge. Meaning they need to win both the remaining matches with big margins and hope that NZ will win only one of their remaining two games with small margin. Too much to ask for.
Time for fireworks in the otherwise dull T20 WC.
