This kind of preposterous question is only possible on IF.
Raj Kapoor was a LEGEND. And first one to be popular outside India and was Nehru's favorite for cultural diolomacy. Actor, producer, director he was all in one. Most powerful industry man of his time. Ranbir can only dream of matching that level.
Rajesh Khanna was the first actor to be tagged as a Superstar. So technically anyone before him including Raj Kapoor wasn't a Superstar.
For Ranbir it is debatable but Raj wasn't a Superstar for sure.

wow .. to the audacity to compare THE RAJ KAPOOR with Ranbir ?
Much more ... huge applause to even tag "Ranbir" as "super star"... pehle star to banke dikha .... ?
Since last 3 years he is no where to be seen.
With debacles like Besharm, Bombay Velvet, Jaane Anjaane, Tamasha... and many many more ... he is fortunate enough to get any new movies due to his SURNAME and legacy of MR. RAJ KAPOOR.Edited by sharmajikaladka - 10 months ago
