Why only Hindu superstars doing patriotic movies? - Page 4

Bollywood has always churned out patriotic movies, Border, Gadar, Lagaan , Chak De, etc.

Generally most patriotic movies do well

Khans have also done these, recently the Khans movies have not been doing well and to be honest they are doing very few and not choosing to do good movies.

Recent patriotic movies are based on real life events, Airlift, Raazi, Uri, Shershaah, great plot, music and above average acting all make for good numbers or IMDb rating.

Just because someone does patriotic movies also does not mean that they are very patriotic, it is all about raking in the moolah.

What the younger generation have done unlike previous gen stars is that those movies which are based on real life events, they have connected with real soldiers and their families to make it more real and authentic instead of just making it over the top and dramatic.

Case in point, promotion and content of Uri and Shershaah

I read it as why hindu superstars are doing pathetic movies.

War is a patriotic movie????

then Happy New Year is also a patriotic movie - it has India Waale song. WOWIE

this topic is honestly so hateful. I can't believe people even think of such small things to divide us further. First there are only 3-5 "Muslim" "superstars" compared to the number of hindu ones. So # of patriotic movies you will get from such a small group is already small. How is War patriotic but Salman's on-going Tiger series not? Aamir barely does movies and his last two were about loving the country. In Dangal his whole obsession was desh ke liye gold medal and Thugs was India vs Brit movie. SRK has been trying something else in his last movies but he is a RAW agent in Pathan so maybe we will get some patriotisms to satisfy the poor nationalistic souls here who are starved for more patriotism in modern Cinema because Patrioism ki factory Akshay had deprived us once by doing some movie called Laxmii that had nothing to do with loving the motherland. Farhan had made Lakshya once. But since that's ancient in your books and he needs a new movie to prove his love, does producing Gold count? Now Saif, that man hasn't done a patriotic movie recently. We can sit and cry together over that and maybe write him a letter and ask him if he will be so kind of bless us with one.

Am I missing any other Muslim actors and actresses who are not meeting your patriot standard? Oh Nora Fatehi must pass the test with flying colors. Not even Indian and doing patriotic movies like Bhuj. Hmm we need to have a talk with Gauhar Khan and Hina Khan. Am I missing any other Muslim names?

I am calm don't worry 😉Internet is filled with too many bigots so most comments are not shocking anymore. Seeing people pick on minorities who already have to answer about patriotism on a daily basis (like your wonderful topic here) is a common sight.
