There are many such Arjun Reddys/Kabir Singhs in real life. Thanks to society expectations, everyone gets married. Unfortunately the girls suffer.

'Talambralu', its a part of Wedding ceremony. The first 3 or 5 times, the couple pour on each other properly. after that it becomes a competition on who pours more. it's a fun part of wedding. Bride, groom and guests also enjoys it. yahan toh groom looks annoyed for some reason.

It is a ritual, and people sometimes pour the entire thing also, but only out of fun (like in the video below), and not to humiliate someone on their wedding day, which was clearly the case in the first video.
