I don't feel it's wise to compare him to someone like HR. I really don't know what is Kartik doing or what will he do in future, but I can never move on from Sonu 😆

Why would he be a disgrace? Unless he does something criminal or unethical. He can be a disappointment though.

I think disgrace is too strong a word but I don't see what he has that's so special. 

He has no talent, no charisma and isn't handsome...

People criticize Vicky Kaushal a lot here but he isn't lacking at all when compared to Karthik Aryan.
