I think we’re all somewhat disappointed with Shivi’s stagnant relationship, especially after today’s episode. So here’s a cute Shivi OS for all you guys.
Shiva couldn’t concentrate on his work today. So he handed over all his work to kaka and Gaumbi, and took the rest of the day off. He returned home, but he couldn’t find even one moment of peace anywhere. He tried to go to sleep to take his mind off everything, but nothing worked. The only person who noticed his emotional turmoil was his Dhara bhabhi.
He had been agitated since the morning and Dhara knew why. Dev and Raavi had gone to a college trip together and it was driving Shiva crazy. To be honest, she didn’t understand what feelings Shiva had towards Raavi. He said he didn’t like her, but he would think of her all day. It didn’t make sense. Was she missing something?
“Itni bechaini kyu ho rahi hai tujhe?” Dhara asked.
“Kuch nahi bhabi.” Shiva brushed her off.
“Mujhe pata hai. Yeh bechaini Raavi ki wajah se hai. Thik kaha na maine?”
Shiva’s mood changed. Dhara noticed he looked more alive than usual. “Dev ke saath gayi hai. Mujhe Dev ke liye tension ho rahi hai. Woh chudail usko apne lapete mein na le le.”
“Phir toh hume English film wala exorcism karna padega.” Krish said, as he heard their conversation.
“Tu chup kar!” Dhara hit him on the head. “Aur Shiva, tu hamesha Raavi ke peeche kyu pada rehta hai? Dev ko agar Raavi pasand hai toh hai. Tujhe kya?”
“Main uss maami ki behen ki beti ko iss ghar mein ghusne nahi dunga.”
Dhara sighed. There was no use trying to make Shiva understand. She was about to say something when Shiva’s phone rang. He saw that it was Mami ki behen ki beti calling him. He cut the call, but she called him again. Why was this girl calling her again and again? Surely to gloat about Dev and her spending time with each other. He picked up the call.
“Ae mami ki behen ki beti, baar baar kyu call rahi hai?”
But no taunt or gloat came from the other side. Instead, sobs awaited him. She was crying. Shiva felt his heart freeze. Why was she crying? What happened?
“Kya hua?”
“Shiva.” She sobbed. “Mujhe ghar aana hai. Mujhe bilkul achha nahi lag raha Shiva. Please tu mujhe yaha se le jaa.”
“Par hua kya?”
“Tu bass aa.” Raavi cut the call.
“Kya bola Raavi ne?” Dhara asked.
“Woh ghar aana chahti hai.” Shiva said somewhat worried. “Main bike leke jaa raha hu bhabhi. Thoda late hoga.”
Shiva didn’t wait to hear his bhabhi’s answer. He took the keys and the helmet and left. Dhara was worried for Raavi. But she was surprised Raavi would call Shiva out of all people. Their relationship was so strange! But it was beautiful. One call and Shiva left to go to her when she was approximately 80kms away from them.

Raavi was waiting in her hotel room. She didn’t know why she called Shiva. It was probably useless, He wouldn’t come. But he was the only person who could rescue her. Just after reaching here, she started feeling extremely unwell. She told her friends and she told Dev. Dev gave her a medicine and sat with her for 15 minutes. Then he left with his friends. Her friends too, left her after a while. No one wanted to stick with her in a hotel room, they all wanted to go outside and go sightseeing.
She was feeling really sick and completely alone. No one gave a damn about her. She wished she were with Dhara di or her maasi. They would take care of her. She wanted to be in her house or in the Pandya house. Even Dev left saying she needed to rest. Raavi didn’t need rest, she needed someone to take care of her. Would Shiva come? Of course he won’t. It was a 2 hour drive. He wouldn’t come. She had to stay here and take care of herself.

There was a loud knock on the door, awakening Raavi from her sleep. She wondered if any of her friend or Dev had come up to check up on her. But when she opened the door, she found Shiva. Raavi couldn’t believe he had come for her. She got too emotional and hugged him tightly. Shiva hugged her back. He was relieved to see his maami ki behen ki beti was fine.
“Tu aa gaya Shiva!” She exclaimed.
“Par tujhe hua kya hai?” He asked.
“Meri tabiyat kharab hai Shiva.” She said. “Mujhe bilkul achha nahi lag raha. Aur dekho, sab mujhe chhorke sightseeing karne chale gaye.”
Shiva touched her cheek which was burning hot. He made her sit on the bed.
“Bukhaar aaya hai toh dawai kyu nahi li?”
“Dev ne di thi koi medicine par bukhaar nahi utra.” Raavi said.
“Kaha hai woh Dev?” Shiva asked.
“Woh bhi gaya hai apne friends ke saath sightseeing karne.” She pouted.
“Use aane do phir dekhta hu! Tujhe chor ke kaise chala gaya woh gadhera.”
“Use chor. Mujhe ghar leke chal Shiva. Mujhe ghar jana hai.”
Shiva knew he couldn’t take her home in this condition. He could barely keep her eyes open. He needed to arrange a car, but he needed her fever to go down first. He got a bowl and filled it with cold water then he used his handkerchief to give her some cold compress.
Raavi closed her eyes. She was very thankful to Shiva for coming here and taking care of her. He checked her fever with thermometer and it was 103 degree. He gave her a paracetamol and continued with his cold compress. Raavi quickly fell asleep once more.
When she got again, she found that Shiva had dozed off on his chair. She was feeling a little better now but she still wanted to go home. A knock woke them both up and Raavi saw that it was Dev. He was surprised to see Shiva here.
“Shiva, tu yaha?” Dev asked.
“Ae gadhera, yaha iski tabiyat itni kharab hai aur tu waha sightseeing kar raha hai?” Shiva asked. “Agar kuch ho jata toh?”
Dev was confused. Usually Shiva scolded him for being with Raavi and this time he was scolding him for being away from Raavi. What was wrong with his brother?
“Use rest ki zaroorat thi isliye main gaya.”
“Tujhe pata hai na iska jab bhi tabiyat kharab hota hai toh isko kisi ki zaroorat hoti hai iska khyaal rakhne ke liye.”
Raavi melted right there. He knew everything about her, and he came so far just to take care of her. This was literally the sweetest thing anyone had ever done for her.
“Shiva.” She called him. “Mujhe ghar jana hai.”
Shiva went to her again and checked her fever. It had reduced to 99 degree. She was going to be fine. He asked Dev to arrange a car and asked him to bring his bike home the next day. Dev agreed and called a car for them.
Shiva helped her pack her bag and took her to the car. She was still feeling very weak so she leaned her head on his shoulders. Shiva didn’t protest. Raavi couldn’t believe how sweet he was being to her. If this is what it took for Shiva to be nice to her, she wished she would always have fever. Dhara bhabi called Shiva and he picked up his phone.
“Ji bhabhi.”
“Raavi thik hai na? Kya hua tha usko?” She asked.
“Bohot tez bukhaar aa gaya tha.”
“Ab thik hai woh? Tu uske saath hai na?”
“Ha bhabi Maine usko medicine de diya tha. Ab fever thoda kam hai. Hum dono ghar aa rahe hai. Maine gaadi rent kar liya hai.”
“Chalo achha hai. Woh yaha aayegi ya apne ghar jayegi?” Dhara asked.
“Tune uss mami ko bataya hai apni tabiyat ke baare mein?” Shiva asked Raavi. She shook her head. “Toh phir Pandya house chal. Aaj raat wohi rehna.”
Raavi nodded with a smile. The same bhootnath who was always keeping her away from his house was now taking her to his house. It was as if she was in a completely different world.
“Bhabi hum dono ghar hi aa rahe hai. Aap hum dono ke liye dinner banake rakhiye.” Shiva said.
Raavi was enjoying this version of Shiva. She leaned on to him and closed her eyes.

Shiva woke her up when they reached Pandya house. Dhara bhabi was at the gate waiting for them. Raavi straight went and hugged her. Shiva got her luggage and paid the driver. Dhara took Raavi inside and sat her down on the sofa. She checked Raavi’s temperature once again. It was still 99 degree now.
“Chal tu jaldi se kuch khaa le.” Dhara bhabi said and served her dinner.
Raavi took one bite of the food and kept the plate. “Mujhe khane ka mann bilkul nahi hai Dhara di.”
“Ae mami ki behen ki beti, chup chap khaa le. Medicine bhi leni hai tujhe.” Shiva said.
“Nahi Shiva.” She started whining.
“Achha main khila deti hu tujhe.” Dhara said.
Raavi agreed and Dhara started feeding her. When she started coughing , Shiva immediately brought her a glass of water. She was enjoying this care she was getting from both Shiva and Dhara. After she had finished, Shiva gave her her medicine.
“Raavi meethe mein gulab jamun hai. Khayegi?” Dhara asked.
Raavi’s face brightened. “Haa Dhara di!” She could never say no to sweets.
“Abhi toh mana kar rahi thi aur ab gulab jamun sunke ek baar mein haa kar diya. Chipkali kahi ki!”
And he was back! “Meethe ko mana nahi karte Shiva. Tu bhi thoda khaa le. Shayad tu bhi thoda meetha ban jaye.”
“Tum dono wapas shuru ho gaye!” Dhara came back with the gulab jamuns.
Raavi ate them in 5 minutes. These gulab jamuns were making her feel much better already.
“Tu aaj raat mere saath soyegi.” Dhara said. “Shiva ise room mein le jaa aur woh kambal nikal dena. Raat ko thand lag sakti hai.”
Shiva took Raavi to Dhara’s room. As she sat on the bed, he took out the blanket from the cupboard. He turned to leave but Raavi caught his hand. She wanted to thank him. But neither of them had ever thanked each other to anything, and what Shiva did for her today was extremely special to her. A mere thank you wouldn’t work.
She got up and kissed his cheek.
Shiva couldn’t look away from his Mami ke behen ki beti. She was looking at him so earnestly that his heart fluttered. He didn’t understand what happened to him today? Why did he rush to her, and why did he take care of her? Didn’t he always claim to hate her? But he didn’t feel one ounce of hatred towards her right now. He was simply worried about her health.
Their moment was broken when Dhara came into the room. They had moved away from each other but Dhara had noticed the look they gave each other. She recognised that look. It was the same look Gaumbi gave her after he had fallen in love with her. Shiva silently walked away. And Raavi stood there another minute longingly. After that she laid on the bed.

The next day Raavi got up at 10. She cursed herself when she saw the time. Who behaved this way in their future sasural? She quickly got ready and went outside. Dev had returned by then, but her eyes were searching for another person. Dhara saw her standing in the living room trying to find someone.
“Teri tabiyat kaisi hai ab?” Dhara asked.
“Main ab bilkul thik hu Dhara di.” Raavi said.
“Tu jise dhoond rahi hai woh subah subah dukan ke liye nikal gaya. Aaya tha subah room mein. Tera temperature check kiya aur chala gaya.”
Raavi blushed. How did Dhara know she was looking for Shiva? Did she also feel the change in her heart? She said no to breakfast, and rushed to the store to meet him.
