Hi, I found the idea of writing a non-major characters pov about Shivi in the writing prompts, so here is my take on it. Hope you like it.

A STRANGERS PERSPECTIVE
Pados wali jamna kaki:
Jamna was 19 years old when she had gotten married and come to Somnath with her husband and since then the old yellow house next to Pandya Niwas had been her home, in the forty years she had lived here she had become a mother thrice, seen her children grow up, get jobs, fall in love, get married and now was waiting to bea grandmother. But it wasn’t just her own children she had watched grow and change. Over the years her open courtyard and kitchen window had given her ample opportunity to witness all the happenings of Somnath. She saw the new weds share loving glances, mothers sending children to schools, daughter’s getting married and son’s leaving homes, hundreds of stories but the best entertainment she had had for years were them Shiva and Raavi.
Raavi had been merely seven years old when her parents had died and she had come to Somnath with her massi, Jamna has pitied the girl being orphaned was a terrible thing but it only took a few weeks for her to realize that there was no need to worry, Raavi was like a ray of light, blessed with a smile capable of lighting up the darkest of days, her parents may have died but she wasn’t an orphanbecause her innocence had something to it that had won everyone over, even prafulla was selfless when it came to her. Prafulla never talked about her beauty or marriage the way she had done with Anita instead she gushed about Raavi’s marks, her toys and her latest pranks.
She had seen Raavi grow up from a mischevious young girl to an equally mischevious beautiful young woman, she had seen her fall and get up, laugh and cry so naturally shehad also seen her mistaking a crush for love, weaving dreams around an illusion not that Dev wasn’t a good boy or that they wouldn’t look good together but anybody with a little sense of love could see that they weren’t meant for each other,in fact there was only one person meant for Raavi.
Shiva was the third pandya brother, the only one who had took after his mother both in appearance and in nature. He was a package of all things good and bad, a quick temper, witty tongue and hot head on one hand and a kind heart, determined nature and dare she say good looks on the other.
She had seen them circle around each other for years, fighting, opposing and challenging each other but always staying in each other’s orbit. She had left her favorite serial in order to see them, pulled her hair in irritation at their cluelessness all the while hoping and praying for them to see sense.
Alas! Even though she had been a devoted Shivi fan girl she had given up hope when she had received Raavi and dev’s wedding card, perhaps it was a story never meant to become reality, a love story meant to end before it began when the most dramatic turn of events had taken place and somehow Shiva and Raavi had gotten married.
In the end She hadn’t been wrong it was a story meant to be, and she continued hoping and praying for them as she watched them change and love.
