There is nothing misdirected here. If you think this isn’t bodyshaming...well...good for you!!

Yes, it's not body shaming as the "kahawat" means; "try to become wiser". My respected PT teacher in school used to say this to us all the time. I or my classmates never took it "literally "as you did.

Did Arshi bodyshsme Rahul first, by calling him “Halka chehra “ ? Yes

Did Arshi careershame Rahul, by commenting on his career? Yes

Then, retaliation is not wrong when Arshi started it with her personal comments first.

Rahul did not body shame Arshi as the "kahawat" means; "try to become wiser". My teacher in school commonly used to say this to us all the time coaching us. His exact words "beta wajan nahi beta dimag badhao".

He said it thrice 'badan se bhaari' and thats clearly bodyshaming. Arshi dint even realize it that time and concentrated on halka dimaag word and later when again Rahul said Bhari bartan she realized about his bodyshaming. Arshi is no Saint but anyone who don't believe Rahul said should watch that clip again. Rahul was my first favorite but he is an mcp which is proven time and again and thats a real put off.

I do not agree with you. You are taking it out of context.

As far as Rahul being MCP? He is real and upfront. You can call him whatever you want. I have a different pov or opinion.

Cheers

There is so much wrong with that sentence. If someone told a person suffering with body image problem, “don’t increase your body weight” they are most likely to get triggered. I was triggered with his words, so Arshi might have been as well. And if a PT teacher said that he/she might as well have been saying it literally. All the PT teachers I have met in my school time have been obsessed with student’s weight. Casual sexism exists around us without even realizing. I don’t blame the teachers in this context as well, since they themselves don’t know what they do is wrong. That’s why it’s important to break the chain.

Maybe he did but even then, he should not have to be sorry for it. Only using slang words are not allowed in the show. Other than that, everything is fair is a verbal fight. This show is all about getting the better of your opponents with words. Even if most people on this forum paint Rahul in a negative light because he retaliated against a woman who has been abusing people left, right and center, it does not mean Rahul will get less votes. He has lots and lots of fans who will support him and even neutrals root for him. Calling someone "badan se bhari, dimag se halka" is not making fun of that person's weight. Its actually making fun of that person's intelligence. Calling someone a duck on the other hand because their lips resemble that of a duck is actually "body shaming". Then again, because that came from someone who is popular in this forum, there are no topics regarding that. So disappointing. Selective outrage.

In these both incidents arshi used bodyshaming card but the reality is both times she was wrong. Rubina didn't call her duck she said it to rakhi in a joking manner because both of them were having fun but arshi thought it was said to her. This time rahul talked about her brain and intelligence but she again thought that she is bodyshamed. It's arshi's victim card of bodyshaming and getting insulted which she is playing from season 11. That's why I hate arshi👎🏼

I respect your opinion. I do believe that context and situation do come into play to get a full understanding of the situation. Cheers.

Rahul’s general attitude towards men and women in the house, from criticizing Abhinav on speaking in support of his wife or Rubina for “dominating” her husband to Arshi’s body shaming, makes him a total sexist.

thats what you said

"I support her statement that he did body shame her. Rahul vaidya is a sexist and he proves that everyday"

so how did he prove to be a sexist with his body shaming?

He did for sure.... Did he talk about her weight in a derogatory way or tone? YES

Did he mention her increasing weight? Yes

Did he bodyshame her? Checked? Yesss

100% he did...

People don't want to see it that's fine... But he DID it.

AFTER that arshi went to his looks... But she is smart😆 she said what if I talk about short height his hair etc etc... Remember there was "WHAT IF I"

So did she bodyshame him? NO

And what's the big deal if he was called nallaa nallaaa...??? Khud bhi to aise he words nhi use krta??? Isko to aadat hogi... Ab bolne ki aadat hai to zara saa sun bhi le...

It's not about nalla word. Arshi started the fight with nalla word and then she talked about his aukaat and career and she even touched and pushed him. After that if rahul has really bodyshamed then he did only once. He passed a sly bodyshaming remark (which I think was remark on her brain in a bad tone) which I think arshi deserves for saying all this rubbish
