Longest innings as lead heros?

Who currently or in the past lasted the longest as a lead hero? I am not talking about Character actor roles .

I think Jeetendra would be one of the tops, he lasted as a hero from 1964 to the 1990's, I think Dharmendra also comes very close. Who else?

Not BW but Rajnikanth may be the longest and Kamalhassan too...

Yes, unlike AB sr they both are still playing lead heroes with new young leading lady in each movie, carrying the movie on their shoulders (although not sure KH has retired or not after entering TN politics)

My guess is Dev Anand, of spanned over nearly 4 decades!! No wonder he was called evergreen.

not really a hero in those movies, to classify as a hero in BW, you need to sing and dance with young heroines

Right now it seems Salman but Akki/Ajay are behind him
