The industry has given her a lot and she appreciates that. Everyone has struggles - she did too but obviously she doesn't want to dwell on that or focus on negativity.

Who is harassing her? Disagreeing with her opinion on bollywood doesn't equal to harassment.

And didn't people here say how "bollywood is not a fair place, if you expect a utopia then go somewhere else" now they're saying bollywood is fair?

She used to continously talk about how badly she is treated before she got married. She has changed now after being married to someone related to the industry.

Sister-in-law to a nepo star.

Wife of a wealthy producer.

And yet Siddharth Roy Kapoor is known as Vidya Balan's husband and ARK her brother in law. She is still doing films revolving around her with a 'Vidya Balan in and as' credit and has not worked in a single film produced by her husband in his new production house. Pretty unfair to downplay her career in an already ageist industry for a woman in her 40's and tell she is an insider.

Everyone does not have the same story.. Everyone views their struggle differently

Vidya has said this before the whole debate ever started as well.. That she was never made to feel unwelcome in the industry.. thats how she views her journey and thats how she perceives it.. No one can deem her wrong in that

And she had said the same thing before her marriage as well so being married to a producer does not really have anything to do with it

So you conveniently deleted my last statement to be able to spin it FOR nepotism? 👏

Where is the part where I downplay her career?

She herself has countless times shared how she was mocked for her weight, her fashion, been called “jinxed” and dropped from numerous movies .

Very fair only after being married to a producer.

Vidya when she was a struggler had a different point of view but of course after success and being married to a producer she sees things differently now. Good for on how she’s so positive about everything. Years ago she was complaining and crying about how people was unfair and picking on her for outfits from media to bloggers. But good that now she’s sees positive things

bold bit: ahaha yeah I was chuckling at that too 😉 it’s not utopia when people are calling out the bullies, but when Vidya says it is, utopia it becomes. 😆
