Vidya Balan doesn’t need to prove anything by having hits

Honestly, why are people criticizing her flop status?  She can do movies for fun now.  Why does she need to have hits?  A 20 year career is exemplary for actresses these days.  What do you think? 🤔 

For an actor like her caliber, what matters is a good, content based role. So even if a movie is a flop, it still is a win if it gets a critical acclaim...

However, a hit every now and then keeps an actor relevant..

Exactly. She doesn't need hits. Fortunately - for the viewers pleasure - she's a good actress .
