Have they shown a backstory about Mishti's mother?

Hi guys,

I hope you all are doing well.

This query is partially attributed to Shonali's latest story. And partially also attributed to the curiosity I always had regarding Mishti's Mom. I can't remember if there has ever been any such reference in YRHPK but smh I was under the impression that she went away from Mishti and Naman and got married to her lover? (Please correct me if am wrong here)

So did they ever show who Mishti's Mom was in YRKKH?

I used to wonder if YRHPK would ever have a sub-plot wherein Mishti's mother returns in her life. (Imagine if Mishti's Mom turns out to be a businesswoman who is Meenu's arch rival 😆)

Well if they ever intend to show one such track at all (and this is simply me letting my imagination run wild 😆) the actress who played the role of Rhea's Mom in IKNMP could actually be a great choice to play the part. From the few episodes I watched of the show, I found her to be a brilliant actor and she and Rhea actually did resemble in a way as actors playing mother-daughter onscreen.

So that is exactly what I am using as a plot to continue my story!

But I think when they first showed Mishti, she was rather getting ignored. Both Naman and Karishma were into business and social circle. A point came were they both loved her too. I think Karishma also stayed with Mishti after Naman was finally arrested. She at one point wanted to send Mishti to boarding school just so that she doesnt have to face the questions of Naman misdeeds, but the family didnt let her.

This is all I know. But the other ardent followers can answer it better

Nikki Karishma was very greedy women.Money minded & she use to taunt Misti for her short height. Not only that she wanted all the property of Singhanias .No wonder she left misti after Naman's arrest to marry a rich man.

I chanced upon a couple of old episodes after reading your reply. I saw only a few clips but eh the Naman in YRKKH seemed a lot more civil than the one they showed in YRHPK. The impression I had about Naman was that he had always been this cheap thug kinda person but in the parent show he seemed like a chap belonging to a decent family even though he was insecure and greedy.

The episode I watched lil Mishti didn't want to leave with her parents who were being asked to leave Singhania house. And she actually seemed closer to her tai ji, Akshara than to BM.

Karishma didn't seem all of that detached from her daughter in the episode I watched. Kinda sad how Mishti's family broke apart, Dad jailed, Mom left to marry someone else.

Thanks Namrata...I guess that explains why they never even mentioned Karishma in this show. And probably there's no chance the character would be reintroduced.

From the few old episodes of YRKKH I have watched during the lockdown, I found mishti's relationship with her mom to be normal. Mishti's parents were nice to Akshara and Naitik as well but I do not know the whole story either.

But I do wish YRHPK makers would explore mishti's mom's character and show how her absence has affected mishti. They have only talked about naman so far. We know about both parents of Abir. Now it's mishti's turn. Maybe Karishma had a majboori which is why she left and regrets her decision now and is searching for mishti..or something like that lol

as far as i seen the show till mishti in PS...i will come from start...

after a leap of 10 years mishti is introduced where PS took it after daddaji death and Naitik akshara with their children in cape town.

so mishti with sighania's but she is in touch with naitik's family, mishti is pampered by everyone in singhania's more than karishma and naman.

when naitik and akshara came back, msihti got attached to akshara more and even mishti listens and eat whatever akshara says and gives to her.

due to naman and karishma behaviour sighnai's asked them to leave but mishti is with sighania's and with akshara.

karishma asked akshara to stay away mishti as mishti is not respecting karishma and not treating her like mom.

karishma first influenced naman to take power of singhania's property and even naitik gave his share to him to avoid these type of issues but karishma always mis lead naman.

when story took another where naira eloped from her home.

karishma is always behind mishti for her issues and use to mis treat and scold her. its type of a mental torture too.

naman use to be some what friendly but she is close to all other family members except her mom and dad. naksh and gayu took care of her than anyone and when naira returned its kartik and naira who became best friends to mishti.

kuhu and mishti are always each other's supporters and kuhu always made a point not to say NO to mishti nor sadden her by her doings.

karishma knows some thing about naman's thinking but she dont exact plan, in switzerland naman tried to kill naitik and then he got arrested.

karishma then took care of mishti and want to send her to boarding but akshara managed it.

karishma even kept fast for naman during KC and even after kartik and naira's first ghnagor too (where mishti is not there in the show).

i think just for spin off they made karishma marrying some one and leaving mishti for her new life.

naman's threatens and karishma leaving her made devyani to send mishti to rajshri as she has faith on them.

so mishti knows her mother will never come back so she didnt even wait for her but she dont know her father's truth, so she waited for him.

mishti got to know about naman's deeds on mishnal GD all thanks to meenu.

even i remember meenu saying to mishti that she doesnt problem with kuhu being daughter of other woman of shourya but she has problem with only mishti, even meenu mentioned mishti's mother's mother(even karishma's real mom not her real mom) is also not real mom, so she cant accept mishti as she is from broken family. (meenu said this to mishti by handing her kuhu kundali and threatend her to reveal kuhu's truth infront of all)

Actually the way the makers shifted the characters from the parent show , they have changed the characterisation to a great extent, for example Jasmeet was shown to be a super sweet character and was karishma's best friend but here she is shown as a character who is continuously taunting others and playing a role in creating troubles and supposedly hating mishti (who is jasmeet's best friend's daughter), in a similar manner nannu was mishti's rakhi brother but here he was introduced as a friend , even naman was first a pleasant character but then his characterisation changed and yahan aate aate tog bohot kuch ho gaya 😆 So I don't know how much to trust the characters from the parent show cuz they undergo huge changes for creating twists....I actually watch this show as a standalone show only

So far , what I know about karishma in YRHPK is only one line which mishti said - meri maa ko mujhse zyada unki dusri shaadi important lagi , it seems karishma moved on and never cared enough to check on mishti , what exactly was the reason we don't know !

But I would love to see a track where mishti gets to meet karishma, a good opportunity for mishti to voice out her pain , struggles , frustrations, issues and that it will be a total dhamaka if karishma is introduced as meenu's business rival 😆

I watched this episode (4th episode of S55) where Mishti's parents start living with the Singhania family again and Karishma actually genuinely tries to bond with her daughter and even admits to Akshara that she missed Mishti while she was away. I actually found the lil Mishti to be quite ziddi and bratty, the grown up Mishti is atleast a tad bit well behaved 😆

In this particular episode they also showed that Mishti's Nani and the rest of family members learn about Karishma's abortion.

The impression I have about Karishma is that she might not have been a doting mother like BM and Varsha were to Mishti and Kuhu respectively, but she did love and cared for her daughter nonetheless. The actress who played the role played her part well.

They changed everything as per their convenience..Idiots..They also changed the core characteristics of mishti n kuhu just to create drama.. They wanted to show mishti's story n they had kuhus character as well so they thought that let's create a story where devyani sends mishti away to live with the mahesheshwaris so that mishti n kuhu could live in the same house.. They cudnt shift singhanias to yrhpk bcoz they were Nairas maykewale so they had to be in yrkkh to support Naira that's y this idiotic backstory was shown.. Kaira n singhanias wud have taken care of mishti but since they needed to create an altogether new show they did this thing

Also post Nairas wedding mahesheshwaris were thrown out of the show by the makers only nani was shown n she used to live with the singhanias.. They wanted to add the Gujarati flavour n that's y they shifted the mahesheshwaris to rajkot otherwise mahesheshwaris had a great n successful business in udaipur

I really don't think they wud bring back karishma bcoz they did all these sending mishti away frm the singhanias drama so that mishti wud be a parent less child
