Devaki and Vasudev's wedding and Kans bidding farewell to his sister

Kans hears the Akashwani's prophesy and attempts to kill Devaki. Vasudev stops him and promises to hand over their children to protect Devaki's life.

Vasudev and Devaki are placed under house arrest in Mathura. Devaki thanks Vasudev for protecting her life.

The first morning after VD's marriage - they discuss the unrest in Mathura due to Kans' politics.

Akrura relays King Shurasena's advice to Vasudev and Devaki to flee Mathura.

Devaki becomes pregnant with their first child. She expresses her concern to Vasudev regarding Kans' treatment of them.

Baby #1 is born and VD name him Kirtimaan. 😭

Vasudev delivers Kirtimaan to Kans and is shocked when Kans returns the baby to him unharmed, declaring he's not a thread since baby #8 is the one to kill him.

Devaki is ecstatic at the sight of Kirtimaan, but Vasudev tells her not to get attached to him as Kans is not reliable. Just as predicted, Kans comes and snatches Kirtimaan from Devaki, having been incited by Chanoor who declared that all of Devaki's babies were a threat. Kans kills Kirtimaan 🥺 and imprisons Vasudev and Devaki to keep a closer eye on them.

Kans overthrows and imprisons his father Ugrasen.
