Test more aggressively. Our testing rates are still poor. Unless you test, identify and isolate it's not going to help.

Improve healthcare infra on a war footing mode.

Provide proper PPE gear to health workers.

Provide fiscal stimulus to the poor to be able to survive this. What they have been getting isn't adequate. Lots of problems with PDS. Universalise the beneficiaries regardless of where they are.

Offer adequate support to MSMEs and startups so that they can survive this without bleeding or going bankrupt.

And answer media questions through daily press briefing. Don't dodge important questions. Make data more transparent and accessible.

These are just a few off the top of my head. Expert analyses are available on Google if you're interested in digging deeper.

Lockdown everything but only for common man as VVIPs have access to everything. You only need to have some extra bundle of notes to enjoy your life during lockdown 

They extended the stay at home order to till May 18th here in the US too. (Where I live)

After a point they won't be able to provide u a hospital either. If cases surge beyond a point hospitals will run out of facilities to provide uske baad just like other countries they will start making choices. Unfortunately for us our population is much bigger than those countries who have already gone through the same. So everyone needs to be really careful how they will be conducting their lives henceforth

a lot of people talking about supporting lockdowns in a place like India are speaking out of their privilege.. for hundreds of millions sitting at home isn't something they can afford to do..they have to work/support their family...

is the government planning to support the low income family and workers?

Economy is in shambles. People are literary starving, lost their jobs, have no income. It's going to get more and more difficult with every passing day, and eventually people's patience will wear thin. Sigh.

what happened to all those money donated to the prime minister's covid relief fund? the daily announcements of one upmanship has stopped happening.. was it ever revealed where the money was spent? did the poor people whose lives were in tatters because of lack of notice period get any stimulus package??

The governor in my state extended it till May 30.
