Dearth of upcoming legit female talent?

Let's look at the upcoming actresses:

1. Those who are lookers/have the glam factor but can't act to save their lives

2. Those who have the acting chops but lack the diva aspect ---

3. Those who are wannabes

4. Those who are talentless and lack everything except privilege

Don't you think there is a dearth of legit female upcoming superstars? None of these actresses have the all-round appeal of a Deepika or Katrina, or the acting chops of Priyanka and Kareena.

Is it a bad state of affairs?

The ONLY ONE I see potential in and think can succeed in the long run is Alaya F. She is both beautiful and talented, and has the X-factor in ample measure. She lit up the screen in Jawwani Jaaneman, and I think she's the most promising out of the lot.

I agree.....only Alaya F is promising...... I liked Sara in kedarnath but she was such a huge disappointment in LAK2

ETA now that i went back to look at them again, yep number 1 and 3 looks better than SAK as well...

and i watched one interview of Banita Sandhu and she doesn't seem the type to do frivolous roles in Bollywood .. she will probably end up doing BBC/ITV shows ..

The most important thing is who the audiences are going to like and right now sadly it looks like it’s going to be Ananya and Janhvi. They also have lots and lots of “good work” lined up supposedly

Tara has the looks and Alaya has both looks and talent - But lets face it. Neither have enough strong public interest. Literally no one cares about them. Appreciating someone’s acting or beauty will only take you so far. Alaya has 0 projects in hand.

I like both Tara and Alaya - infact more than Ananya and Janhvi. But it’s not going to happen. Every power in this industry is going to work hard to ensure that after Alia the torch gets passed onto Ananya and Janhvi - after that Suhana.

If someone wants to disrupt these nepotistic Olympics, they’ll have be really good.... like Madhuri-Sridevi level good.
