My farewell to CID forum.......and a trivia at the end!!!!!

Hello fellow CIDans hope everybody is safe at thier homes,we will get through this mad pandemic stay strong and with hope........

This is my final post in this forum and across every forum in IF. Before bidding goodbye to this amazing forum , I would like to share my journey as to how I discovered cid and this forum

(NOTE; I'm very bad at emojis so either I'll end up using the same emoji everywhere or there will be a repetition of the emojis)

Back in 2014 I came across a couple of dubbed episodes of cid ( in my mother tongue) which I watched and liked ( months later I found out that those 2 episodes were case of clue in the burnt tooth and khooni bhari holi) and became a instant fan of the show.....then I almost forgot about the show until October 5 2015 when perchance I switched to a  channel which was airing the dubbed episode (it was nahin gavah and I'm planning on veiwing this episode agian this October 5th as a part of five year anniversary since I started watching CID!!!) and after that I was hooked 

In 2016 the channel stopped airing cid 😭😭😭😭😭, heartbroken I searched the episodes in youtube and watched it in Hindi and I began to understand Hindi as I watched these episodes

It was during 2016 that a YouTube user named Ajay Singhal uploaded all the old episodes and I was in the middle of watching them and  everything was removed by the fall of 2016   😭😭😭😭.......in 2017 I got a few episodes  links (the old drive links) from a YouTube user named Boals and in July  Sony Pal was airing episodes from 200 onwards and thought to myself "who is this actor who played Sudhakar?" And I googled it and I got Dhananjay sir's name but noticed that he didn't have a Wikipedia page 😠😠😠😠😠 Somehow I found myself browsing "what happened to inspector  Sudhakar in cid?" And stumbled upon Prabha didi's threads and that's how I found cid forum! And it took me 2 more years to become a member and by the time the forum was inactive due to the conclusion of the show with the exception of a few active members

Like Tony Soprano said in The Sopranos "it's good to be a part of something from the ground floor....but lately I've been getting the feeling that I came at last and the good has come to pass" I felt like that after joining this forum too late after cid ended 😭😭😭😭😭. 

I tried watching CIF but it was literally a knock-off of CID and I couldn't damage the sweet memories of CID by veiwing this show

I got all the episodes from cid video archive thread and I'm forever grateful to Nandhini didi, Minionite (Shreya didi) , Bento bhai ,Prabha didi, Visrom and special thanks to user Debayon who is the reason for the existence of cid old episodes shared and cid video archive threads...   and many others for gathering all the episodes.....it was literally a dream come true. I'm currently rewatching all the episodes from the beginning and today I watched case of the missing bride (episode 462)

The time has come for me to bid farewell to this life-changing forum. I'll still be around reading all the old threads and editing the mountain of typos in my fanfic  which will take forever 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂, but this is my last official post. Anyone can PM me anytime if there is any query or any other thing  and I'll reply within 2 days or so

Finally a price of trivia  as I mentioned in the title of this thread............I wanted this to be my last post because this is my 394th post, which is one of the biggest milestones in cid....trial in London part 3 - episode 394 in which ACP sir kills his own son! More than that if you change the number 3-9-4 according to the English alphabets it reads as C-I-D!!!!!! (And that's why I have the number 394 in my username as well and 394 became my favourite number after this)

I don't know wether this was planned by BP Singh Saab or not  but I found it interesting

  And finally goodbye cid forum,you made my life a better place than it was before  and I'm forever indebted to all the members who made everyone's dreams come true by uploading all the cid episodes

At-least you can come and post something in future, because it's free.

Arey yaar....he knows it's free....he just wants it to be his  final post.....becoz no 394 holds a special place for him......and for me too from today......
