Yeah, before she started getting success she used to be Sallu's stylist Ashle Rbello's saheli. Uski existence ka pata chalta tha through Rebello's IG posts. Sallu was even behind her taking a new name instead of her original name Alia.

omggg yes. so true. what's with this superiority complex he has with anyone who has a tint of white in them. Also a sign of insecurity and that mindset that indians are inferior and "brown" is not beautiful. I really feel he thinks like this sometimes.

If you would have never said anything about that, I wouldnt even think the likes of kiara/alia had "european" in them. It does not make you any more "pretty" in my personal opinion.

Why just him? Most Indians have inferiority complex not only about skin tone but accent too. The less desi an accent sounds, the more people consider it sophisticated. Everything Western is valued as being better.

Fairness creams sell so much. Even actresses like Deepika and Kajol who are already successful with their dark skin go and take injections to get lighter.

Even on this supposedly woke forum, people keep putting down so-and-so actors with stuff like how they can't make it in HW - not good looking enough, not talented enough as if a Western industry is so much better. As if HW doesn't make loads of crap themselves. As if the Zac Efron types are any better than Varun Dhawan or someone similar.

Yes. It's not only him. You are totally right. But he is also someone who sets an example as he has lots of influence..so if people like him have specific mindset ..including actors who use/promote fairness creams, etc, then it sets a bad example for indians..and we continue to have inferiority complex as majority of audience likes to mimic what is seen on television/movies.
