Eyelock
I will not say sorry.
Whatever I have said
Has hurt you.
It ought to.
But pain is all I have,
I can offer you that only.
You are thirsty
Thirsty for my love.
Whatever I offer you
To you it symbolizes love.
Be it pain, insult, ridicule
Or the occasional smile.
What was that in your eyes?
Pain?
Pain of separation?
Or pain of helplessness?
You helplessly wanted
To stop me from getting hurt
And yet.
So strange is not it?
You are respected
You respect me
But I am not respected.
Love has made you vulnerable.
Or has it made you strong?
Do not you feel betrayed
Even for a second?
The woman who was
A source of inspiration for you
Has become a volcano of pain.
Do not you feel betrayed?
I feel as if
You feel glad for this.
You are grateful to love
For giving this soul stirring pain.
Never before
Have I seen you
This forlorn.
Is it because
You are no longer afraid
To express it?
Or is it because
Now I can observe it
Because now I am aware
Of the right
To observe it?
Your sweet voice
Felt forlorn.
Your jokes seemed forced.
You were trying hard
To find out that lost smile
That unruly smile of mine.
I could not stare at your eyes
For more than a moment.
A burning sensation
In the heart
Forced me to lower my eyes.
Or is that
What the poets call
A woman's embarrassment?
I felt like
Breaking down
The glass wall
That separates us.
I got enraged.
Why is the glass wall
There between us?
When we
Desire each other
So deeply?
Who is responsible
For it?
I do not know.
That ignorance
Transformed into a rage
To myself
And burnt my heart.
But your lovelorn eyes
Spoke a thousand unspoken words.
It said
"I will never judge you.
I will always love you
No matter what."
What is a journal?
What is a journal?
its basically keeping a record of your daily life or whatever you want to record. every month has a theme on which you work and prepare your journal... you can google them to check it out...
there are mood trackers then there are art journals...
I have seen these...ha ha 😆
What is a journal?
Great idea Koeli. 🤗 It works like a psychoanalysis of one's self, to assess the strengths, to assist in corrections, to understand well about ourselves! Keeping a journal is a great way to record your thoughts and understand your emotions. Typical journaling involves only writing—but for those who are more visually inclined, an art journal is a great alternative. An art journal is a visual diary, it combines elements of writing, drawing, painting, and even printmaking to express yourself. This includes your everyday life, as well as your bigger hopes, dreams, and fears. A single page will often fuse words and illustrations to offer a look at what's going on inside your head!! Doing so offers a way to de-stress and to sort through complicated emotions. As a result, you gain self-awareness and feel empowered.

Vyapti, art journaling is a way to practice self-care. It encourages you to take a little time for yourself—even if it’s just for 15 minutes a day. When you look back at what you’ve written, drawn, or stamped, you can gain valuable insight into the challenges in your life.
I really appreciate this initiative Appy. 🤗
