Overall, the film has all the ingredients required for a massy masala entertainer – good action, music, drama and, of course, Salman packing all of this one story.

Movie review: Is 'Dabangg 3' worth the 7-year wait for Salman Khan fans?
Wood splinters, bottles crack and villains fall like flies when Chulbul Pandey takes centre-stage in a fight. After all as portrayed in Prabhu Deva's Dabangg 3, Salman Khan's character is not just another ordinary cop, but a desi Hulk, who can easily bash up hundreds of villains single-handedly.
Salman who returns as the cheeky, corrupt cop with a Robin Hood like persona in Dabangg 3 is in great form. He is the larger-than-life super cop, who is also an extremely romantic and devoted husband to wife, Rajjo (Sonakshi Sinha), and a total family man. So what if he has a propensity to shake a leg at the club with Warina Hussain for Munna Badnam Hua? After all who better to turn 'item boy' than a muscular Khan, who still looks amazing at 53?
Was the wait worth it for Dabangg 3, is the question. If you are a fan of Khan, the answer is a resounding, yes. There is enough and more to keep you glued to the screens - high octane action, catchy dialogues, laugh-out-loud comic scenes and romantic moments. All in all Dabangg 3 is a well-packaged entertainer.
Prabhu Deva delivers exactly what was promised to Salman Khan fans with Dabangg 3. The icing on the cake has to be Kannada superstar, Kichcha Sudeep, who plays Chulbul's arch nemesis, Bali Singh. Sudeep is menacing and effective as the villain who falls for Chulbul's love interest Khushi. Saiee Manjrekar, who makes her Bollywood debut in this movie, is extremely well cast as the fetching village belle with ambitions of becoming a doctor. Sonakshi is her usual chirpy and feisty self as Rajjo and Arbaaz Khan as Chulbul's brother, Makkhi, is also spot on.
Which leaves us with Khan, who should have looked ridiculous rehashing the same character of the man in khaki, and romancing a 20-something girl (Khushi) on top of it, but such is the charm of Salman that he pulls it off effortlessly.
And if you are looking for some social messaging to go along with the masala elements, there is loads of it. From a statutory warning against cigarette and gutka, mouthed by Khan, to his anti-dowry stance and a message on water conservation and a dig at demonetization at the very end, there is ample messaging to be found in the movie.
The only loose plot point, as far as we are concerned, is the fact that Rajjo is shown as being ignorant of Chulbul's past love interest Khushi, which is odd especially considering that the two women knew each other. There are also a couple of awkward moments when Chulbul forces two men to kiss each other and his observation about how he would make an overweight woman lose weight, both of which come across as highly inappropriate.
If you are a fan of Salman Khan movies, which is as formulaic as they come, you'd no doubt enjoy this. Even if you don't count yourself a fan, you'd find Dabangg 3 a highly entertaining masala movie which is true to its genre. Can one expect anything more from a Salman Khan movie?
Movie: Dabangg 3
Director: Prabhu Deva

Rating: 4.5 out of 5 (For Salman Khan fans!)
Dabangg 3 Movie Review: It Has Salman Khan Written All Over It!
Dabangg 3 Movie Review Rating: 3.5/5 Stars (Three and half stars)
What’s Good: It delivers what it promises, you might not like this film in 2 cases – keeping wrong expectations or disliking the genre
What’s Bad: Length of the film sucks your patience, dialogues – from USP to the weakest point, a very predictable story
Loo Break: Whenever you don’t find any of the 4 leads on-screen, just rush & come back soon because you could miss a good Salman Khan moment
Watch or Not?: Loved Dabangg, endured Dabangg 2? Go for this one!
A great actor is always one who never acts. Salman Khan is Chulbul Pandey & vice versa. Post spending so much time with this character, Salman knows the traits very well and he knows where to use what. Without any doubt, he’ll be a messiah of entertainment for his fans, but there will be exceptions. He gets multiple heroic entries, nailing every one of them. He’s all set for many ‘seetis & taalis’ amongst the single screen audience.
Sudeep is perfect! He’s the best villain in the entire franchise & provides a worthy face-off to Salman Khan aka Chulbul Pandey. One major flaw with his character is that it’s not sketched properly. He’s a routine man mimicking some routine dialogues. He deserved a better role.
Saiee Manjrekar gets no room to display her talent & she stays very limited. She looks beautiful & is confident on-screen to pull-off some emotional scenes. Sonakshi Sinha loves to be Rajjo & she proves how better she has got at it. Saiee adds more value to the narrative because of the prequel track. Whereas Sonakshi is just there because of the sake of it.
All said and done, Dabangg 3 is for every single of Salman Khan fan out there. It might stop intriguing you at places but carries Chulbul’s swag throughout. Sudeep is the bad-guy to look forward to.

Dabangg 3 Movie Review: Watch It Just For Salman Khan As He Overshadows Everything And Everyone As The Mischievous Super Cop
Rated: 3.5/5.0
Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3 is essentially a prequel. The film chronicles the journey of how Chulbul Pandey becomes the witty, yet corrupt but good at heart cop loving called Robinhood Pandey.
Well first things first, it is an out and out Salman Khan show. Therefore, Salman Khan fans, brace yourselves because this film is going to take you on a ride to tizzyland. There are moments of fun, emotion and a lot of masala entertainment.
The story of the film begins from a present-day crime that involves a helpless girl who escapes from the den of child trafficking and seeks refuge in a police station. The police officer Makkhanchand (Arbaaz Khan) in a bid to help the girl and get rid of the crime, goes to the crime scene only to find himself all alone in front of several goons and that’s when Chulbul makes his first swashbuckling appearance. The Salman Khan entry is sure to extract claps and hoots and whistles from the theatre audiences.
When Chulbul gets to know the man behind it all is Bali played with a sinister charm by Sudeep, he is thrown into a whirlpool of flashbacks. We will get to see how Chulbul gets to know and ultimately falls in love with Khushi (Saiee Manjrekar) and how he gets his unique name Chulbul in the first place!
What happens with Khushi and how he ultimately finds solace in Rajjo (Sonakshi Sinha) and gets married to her is what the film is all about.
Talking about the performances, Salman Khan owns the film and how. There is not one frame in the film that doesn’t have him and we sure are not complaining. There is a strange innocence coupled with mischief and daredevilry that he brings to the table in the film just like the other two installments of the film. He is fabulous in the action sequences and overshadows almost everything else in the film. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to state that the best thing about the film is Salman like in almost every film he has been a part of lately.
Arbaaz doesn’t have much role to play and neither does he have much screen time, he surely has had a big part to play off the camera though. Saiee Manjrekar’s Khushi is pretty, young, vulnerable and sweet. She looks the part and tries her best to deliver a good performance. Given the fact that this is her first time in front of the camera, she has done a good job. One thing that I need to mention is she looked beautiful in almost every frame. There were speculations about the similarity between her look in the film and Sonakshi’s look in Dabangg and trust you me, their styling, the kind of clothes they wear are really similar. This could also be attributed to the fact that as a man Chulbul was attracted to Khushi due to the way she looked, dressed up and spoke, later on in life when he met Rajjo, he got attracted to her because she was pretty similar to Khushi in more ways than one. Well, this is just a personal opinion, the similarity between the two was not made apparent in any way by the filmmaker though.
Sudeep’s Bali is ferocious, he is cunning and sinister all at the same time. He plays his role to the T. His body language, that look in his bloodshot eyes, those rippling muscles in the action sequences make his character stand tall if not parallel to Chulbul’s in the film. Sudeep’s anti-hero act is commendable especially because he is pitted against Salman in the first place. He holds on to his own.
Sonakshi Sinha plays Chulbul’s wife Rajjo. She doesn’t have screen time as much as we would want to see her but again, her character is a perfect foil to Chulbul’s and she plays a perfect supportive wife to him, she is the one to keep the motivational lamp burning in his life.
The film has its flaws though, the writing and the plot is a little too predictable and the audiences kind of have an idea of what is to come at times. But having said that there is not one part of the film that feels boring or laidback. Other than Salman this could well be called the USP of the film. I can’t forget the fact that Salman Khan and Prabhudheva have written the story and the screenplay along with Alok Upadhyay and Dilip Shukla.
Coming to the direction bit, we have seen the other films directed by Prabhudheva and therefore this film will look and feel no different, the film is filled with high octane action-drama. One thing I must say here is Prabhu brings in the southern sensibility in his films. It is almost like watching a south-Indian action film! Not to forget the CGIs are a bit too overdone. Therefore, even though the film is interspersed with a little overbearing and cliched sentimentality, all in all, it is a good job done.
I would recommend Dabangg 3 for all those people who want to see Salman in his form and doing what he does best. Don’t think too much, immerse yourself in the narrative, remind yourselves about the first two installments of the Dabangg franchise. If you haven’t seen them, do watch them and go to watch this one, only then will you have a more fulsome experience. Having said that, the film is a standalone watch as well.
‘Dabangg 3’ Movie Review: The Salman Khan starrer is three times more entertaining, fun and Dabangaayi
Bollywood Bubble Rating:
4/5
What’s It About:
With the third instalment of ‘Dabangg’, we are taken back in time to see how innocent Chulbul Pandey evolves into the Dabangg Robinhood Pandey. Here we are introduced to his young lady love Khushi (Saiee Manjrekar) and the terrifying antagonist Bali Singh (Sudeep). Now, this demon from the past has come to haunt Chulbul’s peaceful present. How Chulbul Pandey overcome the hurdles and fight his enemies forms the rest of the plot.
What’s Hot:
Chulbul Pandey is back with a bang and there is no denying it. ‘Dabangg 3’ is the ultimate treat for Salman’s fans. From the very first scene, the movie keeps you on the edge of your seat. Salman’s entry is whistle worthy. He has played the character to the ‘T’ of a flamboyant yet a badass cop.
Talking about debutante Saiee Manjrekar, she comes across as sweet and innocent as Khushi. She beautifully fits into her characters’ mould. The flashback sequence between Saiee and Salman will tug at your heartstrings as it is extremely emotional and heartwarming.
Sonakshi Sinha as Rajjo, as usual, was a treat to watch. Her endearing chemistry with Salman is one of the highlights of this film. Sudeep was the ultimate bone-chilling villain and was at par with Salman when it came to the iconic hero-villain takkar. The interval comes on a very crucial note and will leave you impatient to see how the second half unfolds.
What’s Not:
Well, the movie is a bit overstretched as the run time could have been easily cut down. There was a lot happening all at once in some scenes and that got tedious after a point. The screenplay could have been crisper. And there are too many songs! The makers could have done without some songs.
Verdict:
‘Dabangg 3’ is your ultimate Bollywood masala entertainer. It has a good dose of Entertainment, romance, and drama that makes for a really great watch. You will surely leave the theatre with no regrets. Bollywood Bubble gives this film 4 stars.
Box-Office:
‘Dabangg 3’ will surely take the box-office by storm. It will indeed do great business and will break several records too after all its Salman Khan film!

For the first time I am going to watch a Salman movie FDFS tomorrow...I am being forced to the theater literally at a gun point though...I am so disinterested that I haven’t even watched the trailer nor did I follow any promotional material other than that munna song....God save me...Just for my sanity’s sake, I hope the movie will be better than the disastrous Race3.....

Watched it today.
After watching movies like bala , mardani 2 and sandh ki ankh etc.. dabang seemed a bit too filmy to me but its fine - one should enjoy all genres.
Actions scenes were good but some scenes were unbelievably fake too ..
Cinematography was excellent.
Salman overshadowed everyone - he looked good and no doubt his dabang avatar was something that every girl would love 😆 Though i am die hard srk fan girl ' i would agree that salman actually looked quite a naughty and romantic hero in this movie.
The new girl ' khushi ' overshadowed sonakshi . Gave tough competition to salman. My eyes kept going to her even with Salman in frame. She was tooo beautiful. Pretty much sums it up why Chulbul fell for Rajo - because Rajo and Khushi were way to similliar ( cousins).
Enjoyed it but if you cringe at over the top filmy scenes such as slowmotion dying - slowmotion falling from clifs - unbelievable super hero action and over the top dialogues.. you will not like it in some parts.
Comedy was good - songs were extremely bad with the only exception of munna badnam hua and hur hur dabang.
Also the movie has alot of dirty jokes - if you're parents are bit conservative - dont go with them man you will embarass yourself. 🤣
